This thread made we remember the strangest gift I received as a wedding gift(some 20 plus years ago) It was a terracotta cooking thingy. Yes, it actually looked just like the potting plants and the directions said it was to cook meats in it and the meat would just fall off the bone. Well I had never seen anything like this before or since I received it needless to say it sat in my storage closet for years until I just sent it to the wedding gift heaven above!

Anyway thanks for reminding me of a good chuckle from a longtime ago!

That's funny!

We got this weird decorative metal tube thing that came with no explanation of what it was! We concluded that it must be a place to put your wedding certificate. But why would I want to roll it up and put it in a tube???
