The title pretty much says it all.

I have a set of magic bands from a January trip I ended up canceling and now we are going in September instead. If my sister books the new trip, will I be able to use the currently never-used Magic Bands?

It's not that big a deal, since we're going at low-crowd time, but an extra FP for one of the second-tier (and lower) attractions could come in handy since those are really the only ones we ride and it sounds like wait times for them have doubled at times.

Really stinks for a family who never used the old FP system and rarely even rode the "Tier1" attractions. So Tier1 waits are down (according to easywdw) which we won't take advantage of, but Tier2's/3's are way up. We get all the downside and none of the upside.

You can use the magic bands, but they will not get you any extra fp. The magic band just holds your MDE info on it, so you can have multiple bands, but they all have the same info. If that makes sense.

Yes. If your sister books using her MDE account that is different than the January's booking, you can use the January MagicBands for same day Fastpasses that you can get at the FP kiosks in each park.

After the FPs are booked at the kiosk, you can manipulate from the app.
