I checked my mail today--- Andrea sent me a cute card.. reminded me of the porn cards in Vegas and pictures from June-- where Alison had her short short hair, waiting in line for a whip and a spear


I bought a bunch of cards, stickers and other goodies and a basket to set them near me.. You never know what you may get .. and when

I'm so disappointed!

Tonight DS7 and DH went to the Sonics game (as a group with the teammates and family of DS's winter basketball team.) They left the house at 5:00, went to dinner at McDonalds near Key Arena, and once indoors, bought a Sonics jersey for DS7. After the game the team was to meet one of the players!

DH just called to tell me they're on their way home. The game isn't over, DS was just bored and wanted to go home. BEFORE THEY MET THE PLAYER??? Yes.

Mama is crushed.

Well, they're home.

DS7 is wearing a very cool team jersey, and DH bought DS3 a plush basketball (yellow and green, team colors) with the Sonics logo on it. Very cute.

Hi Alex, I'm sort of here. Catching up and pricing in the garage. I keep coming back and forth. Dh tells me not to dis as he knows I'll get lost in it and not get my work done. Whatever!

Thanks everyone for all your kind words on my mom. We'll see what the future brings.

Morgan just got back from a birthday party. She had the BEst time. i could not drag her out of the place. It was for one of the girls from the dance studio who we switched with. They are sisters and the 3 of them are the best of friends. I'm so glad they are all so happy at this new place and they are all together. Ite great seeing the kids have wonderful friends.

Good Evening!! In Lurch's voice too.

Well I just got rid of my whole family, minus my DIL who is FREEZING in the Pacific North West!!!

For dinner we had BBQ ribs, rice pilaf, salad, and bisquits, with homemade blackberry and strawberry jam. Oh, and honey from my other DIL's dad's orange trees. He grows them, plus raises cattle.

Shawna, those thoughts about your Mom, and her living it up, also went through my mind earlier. Another way to forget things for awhile.
I ached in my heart for her, when she talked about not being able to pick Jake up, or dance at your brother's wedding.

Sweet! Sounds like she has good friends and they have a great time together.

DH was just eating something out of a bowl. For whatever reason he was standing behind me as I sat watching TV, and suddenly I felt a drop on my head...

He mumbles, "Oh GEEZ, sorry!" and just stands there while something drips down my scalp!

I scrambled for something to wipe it up with and asked (not terribly nicely) what the heck it was, and he says, "It's just milk, don't worry about it." (He was eating cereal.)

Great. So it's cold, wet, sticky, and running down my scalp.

I know I wasn't here very long, but it's been a long day for me. Watched my DGS's (which I am so thankful that I can do,) planned a baby shower for a good friends daughter, fixed a big dinner, and then everyone had to play with Kaitlyn's new Wii game- Guitar Player. It is fun, even though I am NOT into hard rock. (Are you surprised?) But the kids love it, so que sara, sara.

I'm supposed to be gone, but oh well.

Yeah! Sarah is in Seattle, in the Wasingtonians territory, and it was snowing on them. She was very thankful that they were inside most of the day, cuz they didn't bring warm enough clothes with them.

And one more note to mention............sounds like things are going better again for Morgan's new dance studio?
