What's metro shelving?

adding to the hyena dictionary now ;)

Cool! Glad you got something that works for you !! You mean you didn't want to drill and have a "loverly" hair do?

bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz:scared1:

Loverly borrowed from Lynn.. who took it from gosh I can't remember now.. But I like it

LOVERLY!!

It's a Loverly day in the neighborhood, a loverly day in the neighborhood... won't you be mine, won't you be mine.. won't you be my loverly neighbor?

It's heavy duty steel shelving...very common in restaurants. I had bought a laundry sorter from Walmart - realized I loved the concept (three basket sorter), but the thing was made of CHEAP PVC piping and very cheap mesh bags...so I had to upgrade :thumbsup2

Sorry Bernice, trying to keep Alec away from the Directv guy. I got real ticked at them a month ago, but figured out how to get what I wanted anyways :thumbsup2 (granted it did cost me $200 to upgrade to an HD receiver, but DH wanted it anyways). But for free ( ) I now get satellite wired in DD's room, and two inputs wired for the family room :thumbsup2

oh fine be that way!:snooty:

I'll just read more on the diva cup thread.. should I post some of it over here ?? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

NO!!! I am very happy not to have those kinds of issues...I just need advice on what to do in December so I can avoid the diva cups :thumbsup2

I take it your IUD is scheduled for removal?

hmmm, seasonale birth control pills?

or similar branded

I don't have BC issues -- snip snip to hubby never a worry now.

Bernice - you came back!!!

Yes it is. My problem is I tried BC pills for a few months after I had DD (my first time on them)...and I was sick 24/7 (just like when I was pregnant)...so unfortunately not just anything works. I like what I have, I just remember thinking I was going to die for the first 6 weeks or so. DH was very adamant when we were married that he would not get snipped...I don't know his exact feelings on it now, but don't want to press.

(Wow, you came back even knowing this was the conversation  :rotfl2: )

Our steaks are very thick, it's taking longer than we thought.
But we are amateurs at this grilling thing-- never had one before, not allowed on patios or balcony in MN.

Hey I'm ok with that stuff.. it's intriguing to me, women's health is a fave topic of mine.

bummer on the BC pills, something to share withyour DH, it's a very simple procedure outpatient (hubby had his at Planned Parenthood which was funny at the time, he had a coworker drive him. Protesters were yelling at her "Don't do it!" :lmao: :lmao: and she was yelling back at them and flicking them off)

Anyway, they just make a two small incisions and either use rings or snip and cautery.

Yes it does swell and things are very unhappy for about 24 hours = jockstrap and LOTS of ice. :thumbsup2

But it's safer and CHEAPER than having a tubal or even being on BC

Which of course doesn't solve the "other" problem.. ugh! I'm like-- what's the point since I don't have a need for a uterus anymore. :rolleyes1

My SIL, who is all of 21 yo.. had to have an IUD placed. Pills and the shots were making her gain weight quickly, to the point that she was boderline diabetic. :scared:

Interesting how everyone reacts differently.

time for lunch.. hopefully the steaks aren't too rare-- ewwwwwwwwwwwwww.

So are they dinner now instead of lunch??? :rotfl2:

Sorry, DS was harrassing the Directv guy, so I had to go rescue him :sad2:

Well....my directv guy is gone, and my trick worked, he had to re-wire me for free (plus my purchase of the new receiver), but they wanted me to pay $150 to get moved again, so at least I feel like I won :goodvibes

Cool Dizzy!

Does that mean you have DSL for internet?

I've pondered going the DirectTV route but wondered how it would work for the internet. This year we found a promo deal but I know the deals are not as good if we move to New Brighton, MN area (we got hosed and had to pay installation fees-- wt?? Never had to pay for them to flip a switch and hand me a box berore-- it's usually free. No promo deals, peeved to say the least)

I actually have my internet through the phone company (some sort of high speed through the phone line :confused3 ). We just have the tv through DirecTV. We had their version of internet for awhile (I think it is just called Hughes now). It was a huge headache, kept getting more expensive, and then they wanted to charge $100/mo. so DH could access his work email (they considered us professional). This was all before we could have high-speed in Gilbert (it took YEARS), but out here in the middle of nowhere with a population of 11,000 every home has access :confused3

...and did I mention, the kids are back in school Monday :cool1: :dance3: :woohoo:

Hello Hyenas! I'm on the way home now from DCA. DL was crowded and I didn't go in. DCA was busy but not as bad. I traded a pin and got a CM Tink pin. Woohoo! :) We ate lunch at the Vinery. They have yummy chicken alfredo lasagna and I liked their sun dried tomato cream cheese spread with the cheese bread.

I took pics of the HSM2 parade, I played basketball near Pizza Oom Mow Mow and on my first shot I made a basket and won a big teddy bear that has the DCA logo on its belly. I also played a game on the pier where u knock down clowns and I won a blue monkey :)

Some people around me cheered when I won the bear because this guy next to me bought R balls and kept missing. lol!

I hope u guys are having fun! :)
