well, I was going to suggest getting a cat then I realized you had shared you are not a pet person.

I can just imagine what dh would do if I suggested that. NEITHER of us like cats.

I found it on an advice board-- ohhh yeah, and I read car warranty doens't cover mice problems but if you have comprehensive insurance.. you can likely file a claim

We have comprehensive! Okay, I found a site that sells bobcat urine, supposed to work the best for mice. Check this out... Its kinda funny. Any type of pee you want!

I'm definitely a suburb girl. We never lived in a big city, and while we liked visiting a city and all the cultural amenities it brings, I never felt comfortable walking over sleeping drunks or getting hit up by people begging for money.

I have never gotten over a stabbing downtown years ago. A guy in his 50s, big, strong, strapping guy who I think was an EMT or firefighter, was stabbed in the middle of a crowd walking to or from a Mariner's game. No rhyme or reason to it, the killer was just some nut on the streets who'd been released from the state mental hospital.

We used to walk those streets all the time to go to a game, and now I think of him every time we go there.

I hate the city. Dh is worse then I am.. We DONT do well! We like the country, and hiking and all the outdoorsy stuff.

ooohhh... I went in for my blood tests today, man, that girl was GOOD. I didnt even feel the needle go in!! I have had a a ton of blood draws, but this was the best. I go back to the Dr. on the 7th of April.

We have a couple of really good phlebotomists at our local clinic. I tried to use them for the fertility blood draws (which were very frequent) if I could. GOSH, the last time I had to have blood drawn by somebody else, for whatever reason they just couldn't get it, had to stick me a couple of times!

I found it online for $14.99 for 8oz. not to bad.. Besides, I was about to call the exterminator to come out here and take care of this... I dont care how much t costs... I want the damn thing gone!!!

We used it in our backyard (DUH, that's where our problem was), and at first DH said it didn't smell like he expected. I mean to say he thought it would smell like pee, even though it was a dry powder, and was pleasantly surprised that it didn't have a strong odor.

Anyway, he noticed after it rained that his shoes he walked around the yard in kinda smelled.

So since your car is where wet feet go when it rains, and then you turn the heat on because it's cold... Do you seen what I'm saying??? PEE YOO!

That is gross!!! It reminds me of that episode of Friends when Rachel dated a guy that was "close" to his sister. It was really disturbing!

Yeah, I thought of that! They have little tabs that you put it on, and set around the car and what not to keep critters away.. So we can take them OUT of the car, and move them. Because I surely was not going to just stick pee around my car!

blehhhhhhhhhhhh see, we both grew up in our teen years of being in the outdoorsy setting-- and both HATED it.
We like to go camping for fun-- but the idea of living in the middle of nowhere land would drive me INSANE

I like that I can walk a few blocks to a store, hit up three Targets in a short 20 minute drive, people watch downtown, musuems on a whim..

First ring suburbs in the Twin Cities is not true surburbia...you have a mix of working middle class , a few soccer moms, and the family in proverty trying to stay alive. See, we fit in very very well
