He didn't get a layoff notice

The vice prinicipal came in to observe, told him he liked what hubby was doing and would report back ----- I think it's highly amusing that now DH is relaxed, he is excited about teaching again and doing better in the classroom

and no.. he hasn't put in a notice.. we decided it's best to wait it out until the end of his contract term.

I think that's smart. I'm glad your DH is excited about teaching, but after being put through the wringer by that wretch (yes I was thinking of the 'B' word...) of a principal, I'm not sure he'll be able to keep a straight face when he does turn in his notice.

so shawna did you decide when your coming down? I didnt even know you were back to staying in the room with us until I caught what you said last night...guess that was on one of the hundreds of pages I couldnt catch up on

my mom's appt is Monday so we will know Mond afternoon when she is scheduled. Right now I'm planning on staying with you all Fri and Sat night. I'll be there just in time for F! on Friday night but not the whole day probably.

Dh is also working on his schedule. So by next Mon night I should know everything.

I know, he keeps telling me ways he will slap out the resignation notice (borrowing from Dizzy) told him to be careful!!! Don't giver her a reason to kick him out the door too early-- we are stuck in our lease until end of July. BLAH!

I'm so bummed, I hope some kind of strange mytcial thing happens and we can leave end of June instead. I think my mom is planning a family event since my nephew will be on leave in MN June/ July before being deployed, and I have a cousin visiting in July -- from Germany (he hasn't been stateside for YEARS).... perfect time for a big ole family party-- which we will miss since I refuse to pay rent on two places in one month

I was going to ask if you could stay with family during July, but then laughed myself silly. That would never in a million years work with MY family, why on earth would I suggest it to someone else???

The problem is not finding a place to stay, we can make the rounds and piss everyone off, I kinda like that idea it's paying more money to store the furniture.

hmm, but if we go the route of using the PODS type for moving.. it won't be bad to store it.

If we use the trailer system like we did last year, you get X amt of days to get your stuff and then they charge big fines. The company we used is a shipping line, we basically rented out the first x amt of feet of the trailer, they fill the rest with other loads. Drive it all over and then they call us when it arrives at the loading station.. then we rent/borrow/steal a truck-- unload and load to our new home.

MUCH cheaper than a moving service, close in price to a self move without the hassle of driving a truck.

no no im serious...you can be my alarm clock when Im ready to get up...

its amazing when we are at DL and andrea usually gets up first and then comes and wakes me up to get up and get ready...I never even hear her...so unless your up slamming doors or something I dont think im really worried any
