You must be such a big help to her. I know that I would LOVE to have one person that I trusted enough just to watch my kids for an evening so I could go on a date with my dh. Just an evening! I think that if I was closer to my sis, she would do it in a heartbeat... But SoCAL is a little far for a sitter!

slightly...hes like my grandbaby..I have him way more than either sets of grandparents do...i just up and randomly call her and say Im going to get the baby like i did today...hes just part of my life and I love him like he was my flesh and blood...

OMG wouldnt that be hysterical to see someone walking behind someone else watching them with binoculars???? I'm so tired thats funny to me.

OKAY... If everyone else is headed to bed, I guess I should too... I HAVE to go get my blood tests done tomorrow. I put it off today, but there is no use stalling the inevitable. I am NOT looking forward to it. Actually its not the tests themselves... more like the results.

Happy news!!

Alison's hubby called, apparently he was told he had to call us FIRST with the news. She's doing well.

He talked to the surgeon and everything went as planned and she's in Recovery.. now she has the next few weeks to get thru. I told him we are all thinking of her and the family and wish them the best.

He was sweet and said "thank you Ma'am for thinking of her" awwww, so polite. And he had to go make his round of phone calls.

I thought it was very sweet-- we were the FIRST!!! See, Alison truly loves all of us.. ok she knew we would all be biting our nails wondering and worrying

Now I can rest at ease.
Time to get my assorted funny cards on their journey to make her laugh.. well not laugh enough to hurt the tummy.. but enough to make her smile

I'm so happy for Alison! YAY FOR HER!

im glad alison is doing well but I had no doubt in my mind that she wouldnt be...shes one strong lady and if she can go through what shes been through so far then this is a piece of

Good Morning All!

Sadly I have nothing to report on Crazy. Her and DBF didn't get home till after 9:00pm last night. Her luggage was sent to the wrong airport and they hit a ton of traffic.

DBF and I hung out by the firepit for a while while Crazy took a shower. She came out and I stayed outside for like 10 more minutes and then I told DBF I was tired and was going to bed. I wasn't really, but I figuered I'd give Crazy her time with DBF. He came to bed around 2:00am DBF never made it to school since they had to drive all the way from LAX to Ontario airport.

Today they are going to Magic Mountain.

Join the crowd of "bad girl", I haven't gone for awhile either.. no problems in the past but still.. guilty as charged..

Everyone has to go before we move-- might as well use the insurance a bit more (they paid another $30,000 bill for a month of dialysis when they are suppose to be secondary to Medicare)

If I didn't have to go once a year to get my prescription for the pill I wouldn't go either.

I don't do diapers and I don't do vomit.

I have never changed a baby's diaper in my life. I used to be scared to hold them whn they are newborn becasue they look so fragile. I held my niece when she was only a few days old and I was so scared. My BFF was like, "It's okay, her heads not going to fall off!"

Well, I was hoping for a crazy update moto. Maybe she will do something fantastic at magic mountain today.


Ok I really hope she doesnt cause you trouble of course.

To all of you who have never changed a babies diaper my dh didnt do it til my dd was born. My best friend was sitting in the hospital room with us and Jeff noticed she needed her diaper changed. He pushed the nurses button!!! I could not get up as I was recovering from surgery and both my best friend and I busted (as best I could) out laughing and she went through this huge tutorial on how to change a diaper for him. The nurse came in and saw what was going on and said they usually have to teach one of the first time parents how to do it.

Dont worry they give you A LOT of info on caring for a baby in the hospital! Its after that stage where it gets tricky.....

Those first stinky diapers are the hardest-- the meconium (first poop) is sticky stuff-- hard to wipe off.. after that>>

It's a little hectic at work this morning but not too bad. Our shipping guy has been MIA this week. He hasn't called, HR tried calling him a couple times and he never answered the phone. Not sure what is going on but I doubt he will return. How odd. He even left behind some pics of his daughters that he had taped to the warehouse PC.

Our shipping guy didn't show up to work on Monday. He was here last Thursday and we had Friday off. I don't know what happend but I think it's very unprofessional to just stop showing up and not call. If he does show up he will be let go.
