Speaking of Cambodia... I just heard from my mom that my brother's fiancee (they are now calling each other 'husband' and 'wife') said she has an appointment at the U.S. Embassy in May. So looks like she will not be here by the end of this month like expected. So the baby will be at least 6 mos. old before we see him.

She sent pictures of him, and I didn't recognize the clothes he was wearing (I sent a bunch of the boys' baby clothes along with some new things), but he was playing with the toys I sent. One was a colorful stuffed octopus with a bell in the body. Cute! :cutie:

Time for me to get going. I'm hoping to run to a Storables store today. When I went a couple weeks ago, they had a wood base, like you would put on top of a cabinet, and place your TV on top. We have an armoire for our TV, but the interior has some wasted space at the top of the TV, and we've got some more stuff we want to store in there (DVDs, for one!) So I wanted to see if that base would fit inside the armoire to raise up the TV, and create space underneath. :)

I kind of shudder at the thought of shopping with both boys in tow, I usually avoid it at all costs, but they have shopping carts in the store, so I'll be able to corral DS3. Shouldn't be too bad. And DS7 has good motivation to be on his best behavior. ;)

So hasta la vista, kiddies! Hope you have a great day!

GOOD MORNING HYENA DUDES & DUDETTES!

Yesterday I went to the mall after work. My bro and my older sister are driving down this weekend to celebrate both my brother's and my grandma's birthday. I needed to find a gift for them. I got my brother a gift card to iTunes and I got a cute purse from Target for my grandma. I found a cute scarf there too and tied it onto the bag. The scarf has orange daisies printed on it and looks nice.

I tried Pinkberry in the mall for the first time. I never had it before and decided to try it. I took one bite and my lips pursed and my eyes started twitching! I thought it was vanilla flavored frozen yogurt. WRONG! It's actual real yogurt that is frozen and has a sour taste to it. They have choices of toppings: fruity pebbles, fresh fruit that is not in syrup. The only thing that tasted good was the fresh banana topping. The rest was just blech! :crazy2:

I spotted this new stand that opened in the mall. It's called St. Marc's Cafe (http://www.stmarccafe.com/). I got a 1 plain croissant and one chocolate chip danish for my boyfriend. Then I got 1 chocolate chip danish and one banana. Normally I do not eat bananas often and am not too fond of banana flavored things, but this was actually REALLY good. Their pastries are affordable and they taste yummy. :lovestruc

I found my brother a funny birthday card. On the front it says: "I was going to give you a sports car, a trip to Hawaii, and $500 in cash for your birthday..." Then on the inside it says: "But every bottle cap I checked said, 'Sorry, play again' Oh, well....Happy Birthday." :teeth:

I have been wanting to try Pink Berry but there's not one close to me. Next Saturday my mom and I are going to either the Northridge Mall or the Valencia Mall and I know that there's on in the Valencia Mall so maybe I will try it them. They only have two flavors right? Vanilla and Green Tea I think.

Cool. Northridge Mall is not too far from me. Isn't that far from you? Wow, Valencia is far for me. My friend used to live there (close to Magic Mountain). I could never live there....it's so dusty and dry and my allergies went crazy every time I drove down there. That and she had cats and I was allergic to them. :sad2:

Northridge mall has a cool store there called Sugoilife. It's located outside of the mall (close to the movie theatre). They have cute Japanese stuff in there and the coolest pens and pencils from Japan. I used to work at the Cost Plus World Market at that mall. Northridge has the coolest Disney Store. They just refurbished the store and it's all nice. They even have a cool changing room near the registers that has a huge red Mickey couch inside and feels like a lounge. :)

Pinkberry has original, green tea and coffee is their newest flavor of yogurt. There is a Pinkberry opening up close to Northridge Mall but it's not open yet.

The girl that won my ebay auction for the Juicy purse is really happy. She left me positive feedback on ebay. I even gave her 2 Juicy pencils. :)

The card I got for my brother has a photo of a little boy and little girl sitting on a fence railing (circa 1950s), and the smiling little boy says, "That bull wants you to play with him!" as she looks enthusiastic. :rotfl:

That was pretty much my childhood in a nutshell.

"Here, hold this snake, he won't bite." :scared1:
"Catch this...spider!" :scared1:
"Mom, I don't know why she's screaming, I just gave the iron to her like she asked," (as I'm bleeding from a triangular hole in my forehead...) :sad2:

Here's a pic of the inside of the b-day card for my brother. I decorated it with a picture of a character from Rurouni Kenshin and a panda from Ranma. :teeth:

A couple weeks ago I got my bf a pack of stickers from Borders. It consists of different eyes, mouths, etc. that you can stick onto your office supplies to make them look like cartoons, etc. He took a pair of eyes and teeth and put it on his stapler. So it looked like Shamu. Here's a pic:

The other day he called in sick (to go to the doctor). The next day he returns to work and can't find his stapler. He asks around and no one has seen it. He printed out this pic and made a poster for his co-workers to see. He wrote that he was only gone 1 day and asked that whoever took it, please return it (they have to buy most of their office supplies themselves). Well the next day the culprit wrote on the poster he made that they had taken it. Apparently it was one of the pharmacists. She had 2 staplers of her own and somehow broke both of them. How in the heck does one do that?? So she decided to take my bf's without permission. She didn't even "borrow" it. She said she thought it was cute and she wanted it, so she took it. At least he took it back but he did ask that she please not remove things from his desk (or anyone else's desk) without permission.

hey do you have any disney christmas clipart saved anywhere that you would be willing to share?i need some help finding disney christmas graphics...I googled it and looked in photobucket....I need them to make our door signs for our cruise...I havent looked on the tshirt thread yet...still on the door sign thread

I hope you feel better soon!!:goodvibes
Yeah, but I am getting better...

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Oh boy too funny!

One time Morgan ran at my dad but did not stop and her head made perfect contact with his mid section if you will and he fell to his knees. She had no clue what she had done. Jeff and I were just over in the corner laughing so hard. :lmao:
I think that kids are just at that right height to do real damage... My dh has gotten to the point that he sleeps with his hand blocking his man parts.... Because EVERY time the kids come in to say good night t him, one of them lands on them!:lmao:
I remarked to Staley one time that Mikalah could already count to five, DS3 wasn't doing that yet. She laughed and said it's because when Mikalah is in trouble, Staley counts to five, then Mikalah is in Trouble! It's gotten to the point where Staley gives The Look, and Mikalah shouts, "One Two Fee Four Five!" :rotfl:

I said, "Aww, gee, I guess that's where I went wrong. I only count to three..." :rotfl2:
See... I am kinda weak with her. But we have really put our foot down lately, and her attitude has DRASTICALLY changed. but hey, she can count to, actually to 13. :thumbsup2 (stairs...)
Well I did it!!

I purchased my airline ticket for the Ladies Trip!!! :woohoo:
:cool1: :cool1: bout time lady!

Guess what I did today? I booked a trip to Florida for DD & her BFF for her spring break/16th birthday!

I used my bosses airmiles (thank you very much!), so it only cost $10. Got the straight thru flight. My sister will pick them up early that Sunday morning at the airport in Orlando. She has to work all week, but they can hang at her house (pool, beach, shopping, movies, sleeping in, whatever). Then on Friday they will head over the the All Star Movies Resort. Sat & Sun they are probably going to Typhoon Lagoon & Blizzard Beach waterparks. Then she will drop them off at the airport Monday morning at the same time that she is picking her son up from the airport. They will be headed back to Portland on the same plane that her son comes in on! How's that for perfect timing?

I really, really, really wish I could go. But I'm sure I will be laying in bed, doped up on pain pills all that week. And who wants to feel like that & listen to someone complain about not getting to do anything fun for spring break or their 16th birthday!

It's that male "Thrill of the Hunt" thing! Except Albort has it all backwards, he's the one being hunted!:lmao: But then again, maybe he's on to something. How many men can say that literally hundreds of women from all over the world searching for them?!:lmao: Way to go Albort!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
