Target is about a 5 minute drive... Walmart is about 10, and FM is about 15... I HATE the mall. HATE it. I think I have outgrown it, because I used to like it. :confused3 Maybe I have just gotten cheap? But they do have a fun little playground for the kids. I used to be all about Walmart, but I dont really like the selection of what they have for girls. Its all kind of.... ugly.
For me FM is about 5 minutes away, the mall or Walmart is maybe 20 - 30 minutes away. There's actually a Safeway that's closer, but it's more expensive, so we drive to FM once a week, and use the Safeway to pick up the odd thing here or there. :confused3

It's a Kroger owned store, all new to me.. none of the Kroger ones are in MN.

Super Valu is the big owner in the midwest.. Cub Foods is where I would shop.. they have competition with Rainbow (owned by Pic N Save). And now SuperTarget is everywhere (and they are supplied by SuperValu in some categories.. so basically it's all about Super Valu).

Super Valu is fun to walk around.. starbucks, Del Amico deli , good stuff! And sometimes pricier food.

I go to Walmart sometimes for groceries here as they are MUCH cheaper than the grocery store on most things

I know about the new job-- duh!!!

I was looking at everyone doing stocking. They were not as fuzzy and adorable as you :lmao:

So what are you hanging at DL every Sunday checking out the stocking guys?? Does dh know about this??:lmao:

Ladies, it has been fun and my priority chart is down.

Good night!!

Megan, don't stress about your Mom. It will all work out somehow, and she will come to understand eventually. Be patient and loving, but firm with her, if that is what you need and want for right now.

Goodnight Melody. Sweet Dreams.:cloud9:

that far huh? :lmao:

I'm a Target fan myself. In the past we have been known to go to Target everyday.. being "perimeter shoppers" looking for the deals. Screw full price-- it's all about the 75% off baby!! :cool1:

It's too bad we don't live closer to each other. I only perimeter shop at Target. That's the other place I like to go during my lunch break. I've always wondered what the employees call us. Crazy perimeter clearance shopping ladies!:lmao: :confused3 Stay out of our way, we have a route and we're not afraid to run people down that get in our way!:lmao:

Do you ever get the feeling that the Sears & Walmart ladies clothing purchaser's are the same person? You really have to wonder what they are thinking sometimes. Do they go hang at the Nursing Home and ask the old ladies what clothes they like?? Do they grab a bag lady off the street and call China and say, make outfits just like this one??

:lmao: :lmao: I know! They have horrid clothes there. But I hate shopping for myself. Then I have to go to the dreaded mall. :headache:

heh, i hate it now... esp what they put me through+ its like Christmas busy for i dont know what reason.
Albort, isn't this considered spring break time at DL??? How can they be surprised by the crowds and not have enough staff??? :confused3

Churro cart x2 (Hollywood + Sunshine Plaza)
Popcorn cart (Sunshine Plaza)
Stadium Vending x3 (Under Condor flat sign+ By Bugs Land gate + by Hollywood gate)

Sat and Sun were just massive ammount of ppl. I dont even know where they came from. Disneyland had like low - medium crowd work force, not HEAVY workforce. I took my breaks and lunches like at my 6-7th hour of my shift during my 8 hour work shift.

Why don't you get a new job? :confused3 It sounds like you're unhappy

:goodvibes Alex likes the babysitting area. Mikalah is still to young, but tries to go in anyways. :sad2:

She's big for her age, I would just let her go!:lmao:

OMG! I remember going to Pic N Save with my grandpa. We don't have them around here though. My sister and I always used to act like we were picking our noses and saving the boogers in our pockets, all while saying Pic N Save!:lmao: Not quite as funny now that we are grown, but I had completely forgotten about that. Thanks for helping me dredge up that deeply buried childhood memory.:thumbsup2

spring is March -- April, not Feb...

I wasnt this busy last year. Im not sure why its busy this year. maybe because of the 2fer?

Alright ladies, it's been lots of fun but I must go!! After my night last night, I just need to get a full night's sleep this time!! Gotta get the kids into bed and then relax and fall asleep to TV. Hopefully no one will wake me up in the middle of the night!!

Have a good night my fellow hyenas, it was awesome to catch up with all of you!!!

yes he does know

oooooo I would love a shopping buddy!! I keep truying to find things people post on Slick deals but so far have found ZIP! It was easier in the Twin Cities, 20 minutes in any direction.. ta-da!! Another Target to conquer :thumbsup2

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: ok, so why is that JCPenney's has plus sized women's clothes but then has NOTHING beyond the teeny tiny things in the lingerie dept?? what is up with that???
And why do they put Maternity next to Plus sizes.. my pet peeve, they mix it in the clearance rack. Target does that too. I rote a complaint and noticed the particular store that I complained about starting having a seperate rack for Maternity :thumbsup2

low staff + Crowding = chaos.

basically, 20 carts watched by 2 people with around id say 30,000 people in the park? this is without ANY help from anyone else.

Managers dont seem to understand how we work either. by calling for us on the radio = having to stop and listen and write it down and then continue... its annoying...
