Uff, we had little plastic army guys set up in every room in the house! How many wars do we need around here anyway??? When my mom was coming over to watch DS3 on Saturday, I told DS7 he had to clean up all his army guys from the living room. (That's where she typically spends her time when she visits.)

So he cleared the ones off the coffee table, and I'd also told DS3 to put away the stuff on the train table (track, train pieces, buildings, wooden shrubs, little people were all over the floor), and then I notice there were a bunch of little army guys all over the train table, too.

I asked DS7, "Why didn't you clean up these guys, too?" He said, "Well, I thought you meant only the ones on the coffee table..." :rolleyes1

Oyyyy... You have to be so literal. I swear he's got a future as an attorney someday.

i just printed that out Alison. I've only made Lasagna once and it took so darned long we buy Stouffers from now on! :lmao:

Alison, I'm pondering your thought for the day. I WONT GO LOOK IT UP THOUGH! :lmao: I kind of want to check....I blame the blondeness

I'm thinking I should go post on a few more threads and see how many people I can get to look it up?:lmao:

I am still waiting to see what my moms surgery date is. She has not confirmed anything. Otherwise if I was going for the whole time i would pick you two up from the airport and only charge you $50 each.
What a deal!!
Megan, we bettter take her up on this offer.:headache:

This makes a HUGE pan full. When we make it we usually eat on it for at least 3 days! It's great if you have a big crowd, you can make it a day or two ahead of time and leave in the fridge. Then just take out and cook when you are ready. If it's cold you need to cook it an extra 10 minutes or so. Then we throw together a salad and a couple of loaves of garlic bread and you can easily feed 15 people.

:rotfl2: Well we already established that Meg probably looked up the word gullible and you almost did so I had to try! :rotfl2:

;) Its an old joke my dear. My dad tried it on me when I was in high school... and YES. I looked it up then. :lmao: :lmao:

:rotfl:

Now I just need the time away from my mom and we are all set! :thumbsup2 :lmao:

You guys just don't know how to work this. First you tell her you're hungry and make her hit a drive thru. Order all kinds of food and then when you get to the window discover your purse and money are inside your suitcase which got lost by the airlines.:rotfl2: Shawna's Cab: $50, Drive thru order: $135, Look on Shawna's face when she has to pay: Priceless.:rotfl:

I hate them, too, but every time I threaten to throw them out, DH steps in. He has a thing for the plastic army guys and Matchbox/Hot Wheels cars. Apparently he had a collection when he was little, and his mom got mad at him for something and threw EVERYTHING away, everything he had. It's one of those things he never got over, so now he buys those stupid things all the time. We have a Rubbermaid box of each.

My thing from my childhood? When I was very little I had this big soft doll with vinyl head and hands and feet. I loved her, she was my favorite doll, and I took her everywhere. Well, my (older) brothers knew she was my favorite toy, and one day they cut off all her hair. I sobbed for days, but I couldn't get rid of her, so I still used to carry around this big, hideous looking doll everywhere. :rotfl:

Hey Meg! I'm sure someone has asked you this, but I can't remember your response.
Are you going to find out the sex of the baby? And if you are how soon can you do it??:confused3
