Complaining paid off- awesome!
I brought up the idea of going to San Diego over our winter break but hubby was very non commital in response. We have a MN science museum pass that allows us to port our benefits to certain museums all over the US-- it expires Dec 31st , it would be a cheap weekend trip -- except for hotel costs.
I also found deals on virgin airways with a B1G1 code.. LAX to San Franisco for $160 total for all 4 of us. Again, non responsive hubby... sigh...
Don't want to be here at Christmas, too boring. I have three weeks to put up with all of them being home-- eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!![]()
HELLO HYENAS!!![]()
Not really, why?![]()
Don't ya hate it when that happens?Last year I made pumpkin bread. It came out so good, but I can't find my recipe now.![]()
Well.... We went and looked at the Apartments... they were okay. VERY BIG. 1200 sqft. They have all the major necessity's. W/D, 3bd/2ba, fireplace. It does have 2 balconies... Overlooking the woods. It has a smaller deck coming off the Master bedroom, and a big one coming off the living room. The kitchen is small, but there is a huge dining room, big living room, and 3 good sized bedrooms. They have a really nice cabana, and an indoor pool. Which I like, because it is was more useful that an outdoor pool. The biggest bonus though... Its only 10 minutes away from dh's work. The only thing i have a problem with... Its in Kent. Kent is a little.... icky. The complex is nice enough... really quiet, and surrounded by woods.I dont know...
Hey Staley!!! I guess I am confused and obviously missed something. The apartment sounds great though
The location sounds great for DH's commute - but I really don't know anything about how bad Kent is -
...so really then - I am no help at all!!!![]()

Hey Dizzy! Its just not the nicest place to live. Dh says the crime is about the same as where we are know... Which is probably true. Here is the real issue. Before I met Alex's dad... in my young and VERY stupid days. I dated a guy from Kent. He was horrid. A gang banger, and a drug dealer, and fairly abusive. my own fault, it was years ago... Totally over. But when ever we go to Kent, I can feel it. KWIM?? I have so many bad feelings from it... I dont know! It is totally stupid. But moving out here, dropping everything from that time in my life... So basically, all these memories, which i pretend arent there... come rolling right back when I drive out there.
Yeah... Im a spaz!
