Thank goodness, I thought I was gonna be here by myself!

I was in Renton yesterday and today (scrapbooking workshop), and all afternoon the snow was flat comin' down!!! The workshop today went until 10 PM, but lots of people were getting nervous (husbands kept calling with weather reports and warnings to get outta there), so my friends left around 2, and I left around 6 PM.

I felt like a fool driving through the RAIN in Bellevue.

But then the snow was really coming down as soon as I hit Kirkland, it was really weird. It's at least 3" here!

It snowed for a total of 5 minutes here.. I was super bummed, and so were the kids!! We were looking forward to playing in the snow!!!

Hello Hyenas! I watched Hitman this afternoon. That movie is freakin awesome!!!

Wow, really? DH wants to see it, but it looks too violent for my taste. I saw it was rated pretty low in the local paper. I suggested he take his dad (they like the Sylvester Stallone/Jean-Claude van Damm type movies ) and he said, "Hey, that's a great idea!"

It does have violence because the movie is based on a popular video game (my bf has the Hitman Triology for PC). The movie has nudity too. When I went to the theatre it was rated NC-17 and they check your I.D. before they give you the tickets. When my bf and I went to the theatre there were no kids at all (which is good) and the theatre was not crowded at all. I guess everyone saw the film when it came out during Thanksgiving.

I noticed the guy who plays the Hitman was the bad guy in Die Hard 4.

BTW... Mikalah is doing SOOOO good sleeping in her own bed! It is sooo nice!! I had forgotten how much I like to read before bed, and just plain move around in my sleep.

I still have hope of talking DH into seeing it with me, and maybe even bringing both boys. I think DS7 would like it (humor, not so much the romance part), and DS3 would love it, I think. He loves princesses! In fact, when we went to Costco last time, he saw some dress-up princess outfits and squealed, "Mama! Mama, I need dat dwess!"

Today he saw a flyer from the Disney Store, and there was a pink throne, complete with a pink sparkly sceptor. He said, "Mama! I want da pincess wand!"

I want to see August Rush. I think we're going to watch that tomorrow. I want to see Golden Compass but that doesn't come out until Dec. 7th. They had a special screening for it tonight but it started too late and I had a feeling it would be packed.

That movie looks kinda funny but from what I've seen in the commercials, I have a 99% chance of guessing what the ending would be. Still, it looks funny.

AWWW !!!!! Are you going to get him a wand? That seems as though it is the least feminine thing.. He will most likely use it like Harry Potter..

DH is skeptical of Ds3 sitting still in the theater that long. I'll have to see how long the movie is, but I think if it's 1.5 hours, he'd be OK.

I'd also love to see the Golden Compass. It looks well made, but I'm also curious about the storyline and all the hype related to the author. I think it's probably a lot of fuss over nothing. I hope it's well made and that people will see it despite all the bad press over the author and his "intentions".

My brother watched Beowulf and complained about how it was the "worst movie ever made."
