nahhhhhh he's just that young.
18 yrs old, fresh out of high school. He's having the time of his life -- freedom to roam on the weekends, playing with explosives and smoking ciggs-- we scolded him ofr the ciggs...

He was sleeping on our airbed, he would not wake up on Sunday. His buddy had been up for hours, cat sniffed at him (after puking near his foot a 2 am -- ewww) we made b, reakfast, chit chatted loudly, poked at him, took pics and threatened to post them on the internet.....slept thru it all.

Finally we let the air out of the bed. psssssssssssssssssssssshhhhhh until it was flat. He poked his head out of the covers, popped opne one eye.. gave a grunt and snuggled down for a bit. While we were talking he made a break for the bathroom, using gthe blankets as cover since he slept in his boxers instead of hsi regulation Marine shorts.

Did you go to DL over Thanksgiving weekend? Was it busy?

Boys and hubby were blocked out over the weekend. We had gone a few times during the week, very fun but crowded!
oh wait.. I did go on Friday after Thanksgiving for a few hurs by myself.. it was insane busy. Not as bad as Christmas but buzzing away with posted 25 minute wiat for Pirates, 46 minutes for HMH.
I picked up a fast pass for HMH, went on Pirate (more like 15 wait), wanted to do single rider Splash but it went 101 as I walked down there and everyone got in line ofr pooh (15 minute wait not owrth it for a cruddy ride).

There was a line up the steps and by the fence for canoes... that blew me away as hardly anyone does canoes.

Think I'm going to hit the hay ladies. I have to get up early to get the house clean for the cleaning lady. Everyone have a wonderful evening!

Well... Dh and I had a morning this morning! Soooo... Mikalah was watching cartoons, and dh and I were killing time til the pet store opened.. Well.. Mikalah comes running in, and starts yelling, "DADDY!!!! Stop choking mommy!!!!" It was horrifying, and funny all at the same time. I told dh that we have probably scarred her for life, and he said, "Naw, she just thought I was choking you." Oh yeah.. Thats great. meanwhile... now that I am done emotionally scarring my baby for life, we have to go to the pet store to find out why our tank is cloudy. Dang fish, I knew they would be a hassle.

We have a 60 gallon tank with 2 water turtles in it and it is a pain to look after.

It's a well known fact that you must clean before the cleaning lady gets there.

Actually I want her to "clean" not try to clean around our stuff. So I make sure that everything is put away. Then she can concentrate on cleaning instead of trying to put everyone's stuff away. Since she would probably not know where half of it goes anyway. She comes in and cleans the bathrooms, vacuums, changes sheets, dusts, sweeps & mops the floors. Plus she does a little laundry and will do the dishes or empty the dishwasher.

I know it sounds strange, but there is a method to my madness.

It's ok Staley, we've all been emotionally scarred for life by catching parents at one time or another!

We used to have an aquarium for many years - until I finally came to my senses and sent it off to the dump! Lots of work. Are you doing the 25% water change every week? Are you overfeeding? I used to take about a 2 quart pitcher full of water out of my tank every couple of days and added fresh then it stayed much cleaner. Then it became virtually effortless after I got rid of it!!!!
