I know!! That was really fun! I am really looking forward to a weekend without the whole family. I was feeling bad that you and Bernice had to hang out in the kiddie area with us. I was also really surprised in June how many of us got together late at night! That was a ton of fun!!!:woohoo:
I was sooooooo dissapointed that all of the sudden my stomach decided to give me hissy fits, that night!!! DH said go have a good time.............and then  . Humph!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still wonder if I had food poisoning, or if that was a precursor to my gall bladder thing?
Well whatever it was, I missed out. :sad2:

Hey I'm willing to room. Megan, I will join you on the couch, and then I can read. :rolleyes1

And by the way......
Good Morning!!!

Melody, do you leave Friday, Saturday ? I cant remember:confused3

A cruise sounds like so much fun!
Actually we leave on Thursday to go to a funeral. Dave's friend's wife died of cancer, and we're going early to attend that. Then our ship leaves on Friday, and comes back on Monday.
Yes, I'm looking forward to the cruise. Never have been on one before. They sound like fun.

Your DD costume thing sounds fishy. I wonder if they lost them? :confused3

cant afford a wii, both of us are poooor... we have a gamecube and a PS1.
Pikachu sucks... i always use Roy, Cap Falcon, or Link. :)

hehe, its 5AM, we just decided to head to bed. just now. haha. *yawn* Played Smash, talked, fixed her computer... watch simpsons, house, and family guy... :thumbsup2

Really? I thought you got a Wii recently. :confused3 I don't like the HSM game. If you play solo you can only be Troy's voice and you can't choose between the male and female vocals. :sad2: I think it's cool that they do the dance moves from the movie though.

I like Taiko Drum Master for PS2. That is fun but I hope they make a newer version.

I used to watch House and I still like it but I feel that the episodes lately are not as great as the last seasons.

Hey Hyenas!

Top of the Mornin' to you all!

Guys I just realized that I have to get ready to leave for Dl in 2 days!

They still dont have her costume in yet for the performance. I'm really nervous about this. They had it at the State Fair and I'm really curious why they dont have it now. Coincidentally they dont have her friends who is leaving with us to go to the new place. They dont know that though. Or at least I think they dont.

You will be at DL this weekend? Is Christina going to be at DL this weekend? I don't remember how long she's going to be here. :confused3

Good morning, hyenas!
Ahhh, back to normal; overcast skies, drizzling rain. {sigh}

Shawna, I agree about the missing outfit: If they had it before, why don't they have it now??? Do they know already that she's leaving? How many costumes are missing, just those two? Curious...

If these are costumes owned by the company I guess there's not a lot you can do; but if you pay for them, I'd be raising heck! Bare your hyena teeth and sick 'em, Shawna!!!

I'm sipping on bad Disney coffee (that comes in the cutest little tin!) Awww, reminds me of vacation. :rotfl:

I think I'm going to Joann's in a bit. I've got a 40% off coupon burning a hole in my pocket, and I've been looking for a little scrapbooking tote to hold and organize my most-used tools on the tabletop at a crop. At the convention last weekend this woman told me they have a lot at Joann's, so just go there when there's a coupon... :thumbsup2

Either Joann's, or perhaps go to get some photos framed. We got some beautiful professional photos done of the boys. You know the kind that make your heart stop beating, the kind that make you believe they actually DO love each other underneath it all, even though normally they behave like a couple of wolves fighting over the same carcass? Or maybe that's just my two... :rolleyes1

I got several large photos (8x10) that I want to get framed. I have an older shot of the two of them from when DS3 was less than a year old, and DS7 (then a freshly-minted 4yo) looks so protective of his baby brother...

What's up Alex? I hope you find some cool scrapbook stuff! :thumbsup2

I'm a bit busy at work today. I'm on my morning break at the moment. I'm eating a chocolate/vanilla swirly cake. Tastes good!

I tried hot chocolate that came in a Princess tin at DL. I also tried one of Stitch. It tasted TERRIBLE! It didn't even taste like chocolate and it had a funky smell too it (like plastic). :crazy2:

Hey, pix! Yeah, the Joann's nearest me isn't one of the big craft stores, total bummer! So I have to go further out of my way to get to one of those and find good scrapbooking stuff. There's a Ben Franklin Crafts that's closer, though, and I always find cool stuff there. (No 40% off coupon though...) And I can get the framing done there. And I already have a gift certificate for framing there that I won at last year's school auction. See how I'm talking myself into this? :rotfl:

The cake sounds yummy! The hot chocolate not so much. :scared:

There is a Joann's here but it's in at the very end of town and is in the "ghetto" area. There is another one that is about 15-20 minutes away and is much bigger and is nice. LOL!! I think you are an excellent sales person if you can persuade yourself to buy that fame! ;)

The cake is good. I got it at a Korean market. I couldn't read much of their products but you could guess by looking at the picture on the packaging. At least the cake packaging was in English! :rotfl: Some of the employees there thought I was Korean or Japanese. I get that a lot for some reason. :confused3 :rotfl:

Years ago one of my best friends was a girl who was half-Korean. Whenever we went into a business run by Koreans they would start talking to her in Korean (which she didn't speak) and then introduce her to their sons! I thought it was hilarious, but I guess it gets old after a while... :rotfl2:

I'm Chinese and speak Mandarin but it's funny when people come up to me and start speaking in Korean or Japanese. I get the assumption that I'm Japanese more often and it's really strange. :confused3

What's even more strange is that people come up to my dad all the time and speak Spanish. (WTH, he's Native American!)

He always looks at them blankly and says, "Huh?" :rotfl2:

One uncle definitely looks N.A., complete with long hair and rugged features. I think one looks Arab, of all things! But I guess my dad is more generic-ethnic, because he gets mistaken for Hispanic all the time.

Well, I guess if I'm going to get out of the house today, I'd better get going. Hope the rest of your day goes well, pix! :)

Howdy Hyenas! Hope everyone is having an awesome morning!:) :) :)

Are you planning to retire soon? Does this mean that you will be relocating to DL? :)

Thinking about it. Moving to be near DL would be a bad thing, since I live in San Diego! I would have to commute if I went to work there! Not an appealing idea!:wizard:

These costumes are the only ones that are owned by the studio and are in their posession. Monday they handed them all out except for Morgans and her friend (who happens to be moving to the new studio as well) The do NOT know we are leaving yet. At least I hope not. I'm really curious why just their costumes went missing. She says the didnt have them for the State Fair and we were short girls for the fair but I went through pictures and every;one was there so they should have had all the costumes. SO my point anyway is they KNEW DL was coming up WHY on earth didnt they order them BEFORE this week??????

The costume is basic being cat in the hat. Long sleeve black leo, capri jazz pants, long striped socks, gloves, bow tie and the hat.

Morgan has a pair of jazz pants she can wear and a long sleeve black leo so I'm gathering stuff to bring MY OWN costume if need be. There is no way we are going all the way over there and NOT having a costume for Morgan or her friend and then not be able to perform.

They claim they will be here Thursday. Ok everyone leaves on Friday. Ugh. Then the teacher said she will bring them. Sorry I just dont trust that. She has 6 kids of her own to get costumes ready for I dont trust her to bring ours when everyone else is bringing their own. This is driving me crazy and just really confirms what I've already thought all along that this place is terrible at organization.

Ok enough bad stuff about the old place. Cant wait to get out of there.

In the meantime the NEW studio has Morgan's jazz dance figured out. They are going to do it to "Fabulous" from HSM2!!! :yay:

The owner said they will have on swimsuit looking costumes (nude fabric over their tummies per my request!) huge sunglasses, big floppy hats, brighly colored totes and beach chairs as props! OMG could this not be cuter and SO MORGAN! :beach:

Pix,

I will leave Dl on Monday. Unfortunately, Christina gets there on Monday but about 8 hours after we need to leave. :sad1:

naw, my parents were never really into the consoles so i never actually had one in entire life... I really want a wii though. Roomie said she might get a PS2 for guitar hero though... hahaha, i dont know why that game is soo popular...
I like Super Smash Brothers, its fun and confusing but its just fun! Great game to play with each other or co-op. I dont know any other game that would be better to play...
House, i love the new episode, there are sooo full of twists... i cant wait to see what happens next week... something BIG just happened last night...
