I know how you feel. My bf works late hours and I miss him. We hang out on weekends and even though we live together, I still miss him He can't switch hours because morning shift is too early and nights fit his schedule.

Funny... DH was just telling me that he has all these vacation days he has to "use or lose" by the end of the year. A LOT of days!
I'm telling him, "Hey, no problem, I'll tell you when to take them!" He always makes out like it's such a difficult thing. He wants to take the week between Christmas and New Years, and the week of Thanksgiving. That will use up only about 6 or 7 days, probably, and he has like 15 or 16 to use.
So I'm going to give him a list of days that DS7 has school closures, and ideas of a few other days to go Christmas shopping. He suggested taking some days off when both boys are in school for {ahem} more grown-up pursuits.
That sounds like my dh!! He was so excited for nap time on Alex's first day of school!!!

Wow, that's too bad. Well, feed him Vitamin C or Airborne or whatever that stuff is, and hope he stays healthy!His boss is pretty much mandating that he work all this overtime. Other wise I would have him home with me.... Oh, and the kids...
