They're actually playing Army. DS7 is wearing part of his Halloween costume (Army guy in camo), and DS3 is wearing a plastic camo helmet from DS7's birthday party. They've got a couple Nerf dart guns they're shooting (without the darts) at each other.

So I must go but I promise or threaten to be back on later tonight after the show. I have to go get my snacks ready for a show to delight us all!

So you can't multi task? I've been known to DIS, fold laundry, talk on the phone, play solitaire, watch tv, read a book and help the kids with homework all at the same time! Enjoy your show!

Got a little better pic of Pepper Lewis & Max. Alex - these are my new babies. I went to the feed store last weekend to buy a couple of goats and came home with 2 kittens instead.

Cute babies! Soooo... Do they eat grass?

How on earth do you go intending to get goats and come away with kittens? Was it the ol' bait-and-switch at the feed store? "Goats on sale! Oh, sorry, ma'am, we're all outta goats, but we'll let you have these cute, fuzzy kittens for the same price!"

I just quit the class I was taking. It was just too expensive and not worth it. I didn't even get a hold of the lady in charge. I spoke to a young teenage girl who works there instead.

I have to wait until next semester to take the classes since the fall semester already started. I think I only have to wait until January so that's not bad.


Did you take your kids trick or treating? Did they get lots of candy?

I put the hyena one back on and tried to fit the tickers on too. I kept asking how it looked and I could see it all but Alison and Staley could only see half of it. Well I took everything off and said how does this look? Alison gave a very detailed description of my blank sig with hues of blue I think and said overall it scored a 6. I put this in the sig line and she said since I used bright pink it was a 6 1/2.

Now where is pixster she was complaining it was too quiet and we are all returning to normal posting schedules!

But of course we went trick or treating! We went to quite a few houses in the neighborhood, but the kids wanted to quit sooner than I expected. Last year DS3 (who I guess was only 2yo) quit after about 10 houses, so I took him home early, then continued with DS7. This year it was DS7 who wanted to quit, and I started to try to convince him to continue on because we were having such a good time. But then the mom in me went: What on earth are you doing? He has school in the morning, and it's not like he's going to get to eat all the candy he already has anyway...!

So we went home. The kids had cookies and milk, DH, great-grandma and I had some tea to warm up. It was a cold night!
