Im here!! I was just off making some chocolate mousse... No wonder Im fat.

Did pix tell us what happened, or did I miss it?

I cant wait to read the TR Shawna!!

She PMd it to me... nothing bad, just weird.

I swear I gain 5 pounds everytime we go grocery shopping. I find yummy treats that are suppose to be for the boys lunches.. instead I eat them. Hard to pass up buying stuff for pennies or free KWIM?

meanwhile my hubby is now 5 pounds less thanme-- awful awful.. it's not like he's even trying to lose weight.. he just doesn't eat all day long. Personally I think he lost too much too fast. His legs look like he's lost more muscle mass. He lost alot of muscle when he started getting sick from the kidney failure--- he couldn't keep any food down until he started dialysis.

Thats okay... my dh weighs less then I do. He doesnt know it, and I wont tell him. I find it horribly embarrassing. I used to be hot, then I got pg with Alex, gained a ton of weight, and I was just starting to loose it when i met dh.... He took me out to eat all the time, and I started packing on the pounds again. I have just been gradually gaining weight since then. I just have no will power, and no energy to do anything about it. Basically, I am just lazy! But dh lost like 40 pounds after we started dating, and he has kept it off for 5 years!

Way to make me feel guilty for eating Ghirardeli chocolates today. DD & I went xmas shopping today. We decided that we ate such a healthy lunch that we deserved a treat.

see that's the thing.. I have no will power. I did lose about 30 pounds -- swam everyday, walked to work, went lower carb.. I felt good doing it.. then we moved again.. and I kinda gave it all up. Sweets are just too good to pass up, though I feel crabby afterwards.

Really would love to lose weight and look pretty before we visit family in the summer.

I'm thinking of going lower carb again... it's not a true low carb diet.. just not eating junk food, sweet/sugars. I have an occasional white flour tortilla, pasta, rice. Just not as often.

I never got in the whole eat a ton of meat and fat thing... I had salad and a protein, eggs and vegies.. nothing weird like pork rinds ewwwwwwwwwww.

DH & the kidlets went to a MotoX Northwest end of season banquet dinner tonight. So I ate more chocolates, painted my toenails, used a curling iron on my hair (for the first time in 1-1/2 years).

We had a great time shopping today. I always wear my Komen Race breast cancer survivor shirt on the weekends. I met a really nice lady at the deli that was a 22 year survivor! It's strange, but I love wearing my survivor shirt. Most normal people never notice it, but us survivors do. I meet so many long term survivors and it just makes me feel so good to meet them. Kind of gives me hope that I can live to be an old lady! Oh and wear purple!!

That must be a Madame Alexander doll. (My mom is a doll collector.) The red and purple thing comes from a poem written about all the fun and crazy things the woman plans to do when she's old enough not to care anymore what people think of her. She'll wear red and purple together!

When I am an old woman I shall wear purple
With a red hat that doesn't go, and doesn't suit me,

ok, I have to admit.. I like the last poem on that page... made me laugh.. but please.. no red hats ... ewwwwwwww.

Everytime I see a large group of them I just cringe... some of them take it as a right to be rude to others.
had a rude experience while trying to enjoy a quiet lunch with my hubby at Olive Garden.. one lady had a tripod set up to take a group phot.. she kept backin gup until she was nearly in hubby's lap. And kept puttering with the camera for ages.. meanwhile the group was LOUD and obnoxious, overstaying their welcome and making the waiter frazzled.

Did you guys see the thread on boys getting pink mani-pedis? Well... I must be in the minority, because after fighting with Alex, and telling him that he is not a girl, and all that stuff... I have given up. If he wants to wear pink nail polish, go ahead! He just wants to be like mommy, and sissy... I did draw the line at him being Kim Possible for Halloween though, I just couldnt bring myself to let him dress as a cheer leader at DL.
