Untitled DL chat thread. Everyone is welcome! Part 11

The farthest I've taken the Amtrak is from CA to Albuquerque, about 14 hours. It was a blast! It's over night (9pm to 12 noon)but we still stayed up almost the whole time. DBF and his friend took it from CA to Chicago, but they didn't get a sleeper, just regular seats. They said never again!



When I retire I want to work at Disneyland too! I want to work in the candy shop!

Well we did get the sleepers. What's fun about that, is that you are entitled "first class!" Woo Hoo! When we had a layover in Chicago, (that's where we had to change trains) we got to go to a really nice lounge and had free snacks.

If I ever do a longer Amtrak trip I will definitly get a sleeper.

DID some research, and decided that we are going to take a cross-Canada train trip as well. Something we both wanted to do!! Cooool!!

OH CANADA!!

That would be so fun to do. I want to take a train trip across Canada, I've never done eastern canada. Everyone knows western Canada is where it's at! But seriously, everyone I know that's been to the eastern side of Canada loooooooooves it. So where abouts does the train take you?

The train we are looking at leaves Toronto and arrives in Vancouver three days later. (you can also do the reverse trip) All through the lower part of Canada. DW and I went to Alaska by state Ferry and train (and plane) for two weeks, and we thought that this would be a good trip! We are obviously going to have to get a sleeper passage.

(I also researched going from the left coast to Orlando by train!!) wouldn't that be a great way to start (or end) a WDW trip!!

Morning All Hyenas, FINALLY got IT to open up ports so I could log on via home!!

As to the Signature, there was something I read a few days ago about they were launching a program that would automatically limit signature size. I think its a stickie!

ALSO DW had me working on WDW 2008 vacation, as well as the DL/DCA trips we HAVE to take!

DID some research, and decided that we are going to take a cross-Canada train trip as well. Something we both wanted to do!! Cooool!!

Got to get back to work, as I have to present a case monday and want it accepted!! (I think I should RETIRE!! Then I could get a job at WDW or DL!!!!)

That train ride sounds like fun.

I wish I could retire too!! I've been in stress overload this week and my customers are a pain in the rump!! They are truly ridiculous and I feel like I'm doing their work for them because their so lazy and incompetent.

well, we are all packed up the van is really nice it is a 2006 ford freestar with double sliding doors , i have a 1996 nissan quest with the one sliding door...
well wish us luck maybe we will win big time in vegas and i will jump on here and we all will have a hyena meet at disney

Eh... Its pouring here. I heard some thunder about an hour ago. Right before dh was getting ready to leave for his lighting rod of a shop!!

Dh had a crisis at work so we had to wait one more day . he is the payroll accountant for all of IHC hospitals in utah, they depend on him alot

Hey, I had to rent one of those Fords for a cross country trip. It drove really good, plus the double sliding doors came in handy!! (and the fold flat rear seat!)
