I text messaged Staley this morning. I just told her I hope she's having an awesome time. I hope she knew it was from me. :confused3
What happens if you text someone that doesn't have text messaging? Does it give you some sort of error message?

I know I felt so bad for Morgan. She was so brave to go get churros while Jake slept she thought she was a big girl but then she got stuck. She hates breaking rules too so she was reluctant to run across anyway. She was scared to death.

She tells me I'm getting the churros next time! :rotfl:

Lynn was like: "pssst!! Rochelle! Go! Run! Just go!! Go!!" and I was like: "But...but...I'm scared!!" and yes, I was chiiiiicken! :rolleyes1

Night Melody I'm heading off too!

Sponge, we had put off new floors for several years because of DL and finally we are getting them!!! :cool1: If we can make up our mind that is. We are getting laminate wood. With the dog and the kids all theplaces have said this is the right choice. :thumbsup2

Goodnight Shawna!

she is so cute when we go they do hers for free..:goodvibes Lucky...

nope i just took my estradiol i should be better in 10 mins or so but thanks.

I wish they would let me take hormones, but they won't because of my breast cancer. So they gave me a low dose of Prozac. One of the side effects is it decreases hot flashes. It actually works great!:thumbsup2 Not to mention that I'm very happy!! But I guess that's what happens when you give a person that is already happy a happy pill!:lmao:

I think I'll change my screen name to that "Bunsofuranus"!:lmao:

:lmao: :rotfl2: I think FunnyG would approve too!!

Too much trouble! Are you crazy woman! A pedicure is never too much trouble. And I highly recommend one right before going to DL, makes pounding the pavement so much better. You should try a few different places, everyone does them differently. Did you do the one where they dip your feet in wax? I love that!!

No, but she put my hands in the wax and stuck some mitts on my hands. I felt like I had the chicken pox! :rotfl2: It was really cool though and felt nice :) She did rub some kind of oil on my feet and stuck them in these warm booties. :confused3

Good night, Spongie and Shawna! :cloud9:

Alex- I put your cell #, Staley's and Bernice's all in my phone. I hope I have a signal when I'm there! If all else fails, I'm going to go to Main Street and have them page you guys! ;)

*parade music: Welcome to our family time!* {music stops} "WILL ALEX2KMOMMY? STALEY? FUNNYGARCIA? PLEASE REPORT TO CITY HALL. PIXSTER IS TRYING TO FIND YOU!" :) :rotfl:

So do you suppose FunnyG would want to be Bunsofsteeluranus?:lmao:

Everyone does pedicures differently, some I like, some not so great. But the lady that I really like has the same kind of wax that they use on your hands. She dips my feet in it and then wraps them in plastic and warm towels. It feels so relaxing and makes them so soft.

:rotfl: :rotfl2: I think she wants to be Pumpkinqueen ;)

My grandma said she went to a place her neighbor had recommended for a pedicure. They just opened up nearby. Well she went there twice and on both occassions she got an infection! :scared1:

Yikes! I guess people are getting serious infections (antibiotic-resistant staph!) from places that aren't very good about their sterilizations. Scary stuff!

That freaked me out! She said she had to go to the pediatrist to get meds for her feet. I think she said she also had to soak her feet at home but it took awhile to clear up.

Never use the ones that have the chairs attached to the foot thing. Go to a salon that uses ones that look like buckets with wheels. They can completely empty and sanitize those. The ones you see, like in the mall, not so good. They can't completely empty them and some water always stays in them. That's where you get the infections. Also, make sure they have a metal sterilizer that they take their tools out of. I won't use them if I can't see a sterilizer sitting right out front. I don't want to risk them using dirty tools and getting an infection. There are a lot of not so clean salons out there, so you have to be careful. I do my own at home sometimes, that's the safest place. But the lady I use is very careful and uses sterilized tools, clean bucket, etc...

I tried the one in Nordstrom's Day Spa. They had comfy chairs that are high up (like you're sitting on a cushy throne) and they had some deep stainless steel sinks below

Just make sure and have them stop all the rides for a few seconds so they can hear you there too!:rotfl2: If that doesn't work then maybe they can shoot up some fireworks with their names on them and an arrow pointing towards you.:thumbsup2
