Ha! Bill Gates was at Best Buy in Redmond at midnight for the first purchase of Halo 3! First copy was purchased by a 17yo kid, and Gates shook his hand, talked with him a bit and autographed the game. The kid was all atwitter. What a nerd! :lmao:

Then we find out that he was in trouble at school because he'd called in sick that day. He claims that he WAS sick, but had to go wait in line and get this game... :rolleyes1

Apparently there's nothing the school can do anyway, because his parents sent in a note approving his absence due to illness.

ETA: OH! And this part is priceless!!! He said something totally dorky about the school administration, like, "Come on! You're going to punish me for this? It was an opportunity of a lifetime! They should be THANKING me!" OMG...

:rotfl2:

DH doesn't even try that, but DS3 loves to hop into the shower with one of us. It's really annoying! We wash him every other day, because his eczema acts up when he is watched too often, it's bad for his skin. But we can shower him one evening, then the next morning he'll try to hop in with me, then hop in AGAIN with Daddy mid-morning! He gets so upset when we say NO!

:lmao: My kids HATE the shower. With a passion. Alex has just started being okay with it, but he would much prefer a bath... So they stay OUT when we are taking a shower... now if I am in the tub.:sad2: Mikalah is nekid in 2 seconds flat, and vaults her little butt right in!:lmao: :lmao:

I'm reading this month's issue of Rachey Ray's magazine. They have something cool that your kids may like. If you go to www. rachelraymag.com/favors you can personalize a design to print out and iron onto a tote bag. It looks really cute for a trick or treat bag.

 Dh is VERY modest... I kid you not that Alex has to be fully dressed at all times. He is NOT allowed to hang out and watch toons in his undies. Mikalah can chill in her diaper, but she is a baby. Once they are wearing undies, they are to be fully dressed at all times. DH has been nagging me about letting Alex see me in anything less than a full getup for YEARS now!! He is convinced Alex will turn into a perv if he sees a "bubby" :lmao: And when it comes to the kids seeing him in anything less that fully dressed... Lets just say he locks the door to brush his teeth! But I am WAY more casual... I leave the bathroom door open if I am in there, no matter WHAT I am doing.
He sounds like my Dad! :lmao:

Yup... I just saw that! The funny thing about that game... They had TONS of them at costco!!! The girl at the game store told us if we wanted it, we HAD to preorder it. NO WAY would there be any left.:sad2:

The magazine said that you could get 99 cent tote bags from cheaptotes.com but I'm sure you can find them at craft stores or Walmart.
Yeah, I think I saw some at Michaels last week. I was just gonna bring some cheapie plastic bags; in fact, I just bought one at Party City last week.

I was thinking I wanted to put some Creative DISigns on t-shirts for the family, but so far the request I put in hasn't been done. Not sure they'll get to it before the trip, kind of a bummer. :(

Okay... its late, and I have a big busy day tomorrow... So if anyone happens to notice that I am online during the day... MAKE ME GET OFF!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Night Guys!!

Aww....I hope you get your t-shirts! I'm not sure how much the iron on transfer paper is. I've neer purchased it before. I think it would be cool to make those trick or treat bags. They do look cute :)

Somebody said they got a pack of the transfer paper for $20 in a store, I think, less on the internet. But since I'm down to the wire, I'd try to find it locally. Not sure how many papers are in a pack, 10? 20? I can see it wouldn't be hard to run through 10, that's only two shirts apiece plus two bags... And that's assuming I don't screw any up somehow and have to do over! :lmao:

Gee, it's almost midnight, I better get to bed. I'm gonna be dragging my sorry *** out of bed in the morning. Ugh...

Good night, pix!
