I feel very fortunate that my kids aren't embarassed to be out in public withme. But then again, I'm very careful not to be too weird with them
My SIL was funny at the middle school age, MIL told me SIL couldn't walk with her in the grocery store. She walked an aisle away, and would not come closer. " Someone might see me with you!!"
It's cute now, they have a great bond. Once MIL is out of her house she will be moving closer to her DD, wouldn't be suprised if they shared an apartment.
I remember in high school my friend came over and she was giggling because my dad was singing karaoke downstairs and he got soooo into it!! He doesn't sing bad but when he gets really into it, his voice gets LOUDER!!

I am excited!! It is going to be in the 50's at the red woods... But we are only there for a day. I have a feeling that we are going to be leaving Friday morning... I dont think dh is going to be able to sleep that morning.. So if he was going to stay up, we might as well be driving!

You know, I just finally gave up. I used to be such a very modest person, and DH grew up in a house where his dad walked around naked.I hope so!! Alex knows to stay out, so that is a bonus! if only I could figure out how to teach dh to stay out!

Well, he lived with his dad until around age 12, but I guess it made an impression.
So bathroom doors are always open (unless we have company), showers are nothing sacred. DH is now telling me that DS7 is at the age where I need to keep him out when I'm getting dressed, but just because I shut the door doesn't mean he doesn't walk in anyway. We've talked to him about that, but it hasn't really sunk in yet. And I guess I haven't appropriately spoken to him about it when he does it.
Dh is VERY modest... I kid you not that Alex has to be fully dressed at all times. He is NOT allowed to hang out and watch toons in his undies. Mikalah can chill in her diaper, but she is a baby. Once they are wearing undies, they are to be fully dressed at all times. DH has been nagging me about letting Alex see me in anything less than a full getup for YEARS now!! He is convinced Alex will turn into a perv if he sees a "bubby" And when it comes to the kids seeing him in anything less that fully dressed... Lets just say he locks the door to brush his teeth! But I am WAY more casual... I leave the bathroom door open if I am in there, no matter WHAT I am doing.
