My bf and I are deciding what movie to watch. It's down to Resident Evil or Superbad. :rotfl2:

i am just down to 2 kids this morning my ds2 and ds4 ...dh just took the older kids to rockfest 2007 here (what a awesome dad) my lil brother plays in one of the bands at the show and they have been wanting to see him but can't really get into a 21 or older club. my dd just left looking adorable .. my dh said "doesn't she look like the cheerleader going to the rock concert..." thank goodness for the disney channel the younger ones can watch it all day why i clean and sew....:goodvibes

Good Morning Hyena's...coming to you briefly from the library - as I cannot seem to get a good internet connection at home. We have a bit of good news - while unfortunately we still have not sold the house, we do know for sure where we will be living for the next 7 months. We have the condo until the 21st, and then from there we found a great house to rent for 6 months. It is on an acre, with a huge fenced yard, as well as three bedrooms and a washer and dryer. There is tons of storage, and the other plus is the house is older and not in pristine condition, so we will not be concerned that our little rugrats will hurt it. Good news is DH's work will advance us the money to pay for it (we will have to pay it back, but only out of his quarterly bonus which is free money anyways).

We are still good for DL...may actually get there Friday now. We were going to pull DD out of school early, but she has an all day field trip (kind of bummed she is going to miss it), so she needs to go to school all day or not at all. Considering it is now a 9 hour drive for us, we are definitely voting not at all. I will keep you updated as I learn more.

Things are really weird right now though, DH and the kids are at a bird show, they left last night and won't be back until Sunday. At least I work otherwise I would be going crazy right now. I guess the kids cried the whole trip because they missed mommy

Alright, I think that is it. I hope all is well, but sadly I don't get to keep up anymore, so please fill me in on anything going on!!!

Good Morning!!! Oh, well I guess its afternoon, and here i sit in my jammies! :lmao: Dh just got home a bit ago, and we put the kids to bed. Then we watched a show on bigfoot. :sad2: How romantic!:lmao: Now hes in bed, and I expect we will have another *exciting* 5 minutes together tomorrow as well!:lmao: Anyhow... I need to go to Walmart later today. Wow, we are soooo not an exciting family!:lmao:

Finally!!! Ugh!!! I have FINALLY bought Alex's ticket!!! I had to call all over town to find a 6 day park hopper. :headache: I called getaway today, and got it from them, and I dont even have to worry about not getting it in time. They will have it at the ticket window for us!

How are you feeling today? Back to 100%? How's DH? Man, with that work schedule, I wouldn't be surprised if he came down with something, but here's hoping he manages to skip it!

Can you let me know if Walmart has any cute Halloween t-shirts for the kids? The closest one to me is up in Lynnwood/Mill Creek area, so I don't go very often. But I've been looking for cute Halloween shirts. I almost bought ones at Osh Kosh the other day (a glow-in-the-dark skeleton arms and torso for DS7, and a G-I-T-D mummy for DS3), but they really weren't cute, more realistic, you know? And too pricey for a t-shirt they'll wear just a few times before the holiday is over. Besides, I'm looking for cute, at least for DS3. :cutie:

The soccer practice and game didn't go so well today. Well, it did for everyone but DS3. He wanted to play basketball with the soccer ball, kept picking it up and running with it, and asking Daddy to throw it in the hoop.

We kept explaining that he couldn't use his hands, only his feet (chest, legs, head), so KICK, KICK, KICK! Get the ball in that goal! But he wouldn't. He didn't WANT to. So he sat on the sidelines and pouted and whined, then said he wanted to play, so I'd send him out on the floor and DH would trip over him because he'd stand rightnextto Daddy. :headache:

DH made DS3 goalie at one point (because he wasn't running around and chasing the ball at all), and so I stood next to him coaching him to get the ball, kick it away; but instead he'd just watch it come and roll right past him. Again and again and again! :sad2:

I think we need to get a little soccer practice under his belt, because he really just didn't seem to know what was expected.

has anyone seen the "stitch meets high school musical" remake of getcha head in the game and we are all in this together.. too cute..
oh sorry i am watching the disney channel and one of there commercials was called stitch meets high school musical and it had a few of the stitch characters doing there own version of get your head in the game and we are all in this together....

sounds like fun! I will check it out!

Hey, I just found out that the Electrical Parade will be running roughly Dec. 14 - Jan. 6. I have never seen it, but I would love to! :thumbsup2

EP is one of my favorites, we usually skip parades. To me they are a pain in the butt when we are trying to get somewhere in the park : (
But we will sit and wait for EP to start. Love the music, the lights, everything is up close to you. Sitting on the ground the parade looks great!

http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/No-Bake-Cookies-II/Detail.aspx
This is the recipe I use... Only I boil it for 3 minutes... They are delicious!!!:cloud9: If you dont boil it long enough, the cookies are very goopy. In fact, we call them gookies!:lmao: :lmao:

hmmmm, might have to try those.

Does anyone want an extra husband??? Mine keeps FARTING, and he is pissing me off!

Sure send him down!! Mine isn't quite stinky enough himself, I can still breathe!:rotfl2:
Hey guys, I'm back!!! I finally gave up on the high speed thing and I just downloaded good ol' Net Zero!:thumbsup2 So what did I miss this week?
We missed you Alison! Yes, I'm glad hubby is home, and we will get thru this just as we have done before with all his other problems. Not a serious thing but perplexing as to why a seizure disorder started now???

I can sure tell Spongie has been hanging around the Hyena crowd. Her siggie keeps getting bigger and bigger!:rotfl2: I was just noticing the other day how big our siggies are getting again.

I'm going to be going to the Komen Race for the Cure here in Portland on Sunday. My boss called me the other day and said he would donate $2,500 if I would walk. So I couldn't turn that down! I wasn't really planning on doing 2 races in one month, but what the heck!!

COOL!

Sorry FunnyGarcia... i didnt meant to stereotype against another race...

to be honest, im myself is disgrace for my own ethinicity...

Motto, heres our current deal for CMs.

not trying to show off or anything... :\

why wont it rain... :'(

Thanks Albort. I know it wasn't on purpose, we all say things onthe fly and not think before we hit the post button.
WOW! Those are awesome rates! Is that for all 3 hotels, or is it more for the Grand? Makes me wish even more that MIL was visiting at Thanksgiving week instead of Christams- sigh....

It's true! Mention poop, and Sam will appear! :lmao:

Because....It never rains in Southern California....haven't you heard that song?
NO, not the BROWN stuff!:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Mine was A-Okay. I am totally feeling better, I have been sick for a few days. I had a killer headache earlir, but it is gone now, and I feel peachy!:thumbsup2

Alex got PUNCHED in the eye on the bus today.... I was livid! I asked him what happened, who did it? He said he didnt know the boys name, but he has his bus stop. So we will find out on Monday.

yeah... pretty sure it was a bigger kid. I felt SOO bad for him! he walks off the bus crying, with dirt all around his eye, and I said, "Whats going on?" and he told me... I am such a bad mom. :sad2: The first thing I asked was, "Did you hit him back?" He said he told the kid that he liked his shoes, and the kid punched him in the eye. :confused3 I dont understand. I think he was afraid that he was going to get in trouble, because I was PISSED. I had to keep reassuring him that I wasnt mad at him. Nobody has the right to hit him.    I told him on monday he needs to show daddy who it was. Dh asked me if I wanted him to beat the kid up!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Ummm... NO! But we can find out what happened, and report it to the school.

he used to be friends with this kid ,and he has a ton of problems and his mom is really a beeeeaaaacccchhhhh:scared1: they had a ugly argument and he just threw him in front of a car  and so my dh called the cops they came out and said that we really couldn't do alot but to talk to the principal so we did and the principal had the nerve to tell me to put all of my kids in the car and drive all of 7 mins to get them  so i said i will go to the district:rolleyes1 let's just say they are keeping there eye on this kid and his brothers for any reason to kick them outta our district...

How could the bus driver not notice?? :confused3 I would think that he or she would. I hope you find out that little punks name. Hopefully his parents are Mr. & Mrs. Punk! :sad2:

Dh will stay cool... I have faith. (I hope!) Yeah... little butt wipe. I tried to ask the bus driver what happened, but thats a whole other story.:sad2: I walked up to the bus, and the driver looked at me, shut the door and drove off!! The comes off like a total jerk. He yells at the kids, and always seems to have an attitude. I am just about done with this school. With everything Alex has been telling me, I am SOO close to homeschooling. If he has anymore issues with the bus, we are driving him from know on. Anything else at school, and I am taking him out. I am just DONE!

isn't it funny how schools push that they are safe but when a problem arrises no one gives a crud.. if you do home school you are a good person i will make my dh work 10 jobs so that my kids can go to a charter school before i homeschool 5 monkeys;) i don't think i could do that..

:lmao: I have had real reservations about it, but doing research on it, I really think that if we do it right, it wont be to bad. Besides, so far, we only have the 2!:lmao:

Both your stories are just stunning, simply stunning! My DS had a bullying incident in kindergarten with an older child picking on a group of younger boys and trying to hit them, but the school took care of it before we parents even knew about it. (That kinda bugged me, too, that I didn't hear about it from the school. It came out because one of the victims mentioned it to his mom, who mentioned it to me.)

Alex also told me that his teacher left him and another boy on the playground... BY THEM SELVES. I wasnt sure if he was telling the truth, so I kind of let it go... No Im not so sure.:confused3

That sucks Staley!!!!

Oh Ive learned that schools are really not as safe as we would like. Staff don't monitor kids as closely as we would as a parent.
J had stitches in 1st grade in his lip, no one was monitoring and kids were goofing off in the bathroom- WHAM, door to face and hit some metal piece with his lip.
J and N would tell me the teachers stood on a hill above the playground, didn't even know bullying or accidents happen.
Each school they have been to is a little different.
The college town we lived in.. the staff were very strict and kept close eye on everyone.. a little too strict sometimes. (N had to sit at a different table if he brought his own lunch, to protect the kids with allergies?? it was already a P butter free lunch per rules. We complained ,he wanted to sit with friends, they gave us some lame excuses about kids trading lunches.. well gee, most kid's I know with allergies are aware of foods they can and can't have. Not like school lunch was allergy free either-- argghhhh!).

It also sucks that you don't have school choice. MN is open enrollment, CA is open enroll within a district, if there is room... I know if a district didn't pass NCLB you have the right to send them to another school, federal law! You might want to check into that.

its sprinkling its sprinkling and I can smell the ray yain.... :rotfl: get up everybody party over here!! Cali's getting the rain....:dance3: :cheer2: party:

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: We have been getting rain for days!:lmao:

I hear thunder!! I think God is bowling again ;)

well as long as he doesnt get mad like the last time and start yelling at his team mates....

I am so flipping tired....I have had the baby for most of the week and 3 times overnight....his mom and dad have been moving into a house and its taking them forever to pack and load and unload so Ive kept him because precious wants so much attention...we just found out he is anemic so this week Ive been starting to feed him regular table food..hamburger, chicken, mashed potatoes, etc...he tried and loved honeydew melon...hes loving this new food and chews it really well....hes an exhausting fella though lol

oh and on top of that...my gd Lexies mom had her baby...a week early...she was born on the 18th at 10:45 pm...6lbs 7oz and 18 1/2 in...and I have to get up and drive to Sacramento tomorrow morning to pick her mom up from the airport...shes coming to stay a week to help Kayce get back on her feet and stuff

yep thats how I became nates bf...gave him fies:rotfl:

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: If the happy meal toy is Mickey do you get to keep that? ;)

hello...girl...do you NOT know me???? what do you think????

I can picture all your mickey merchandise displayed nicely in a curio cabinet. One that has accent lights and also comes with voice command and retinae scan access ;)

ohhh I can totally picture that~~~ :)

Good morning, hyenas!

Just a quick hello as we get started for the day. Today is DS3's first day playing soccer ~ He is sooo excited! I can't wait to see how 3yos play. I'm picturing a cluster of 20 kids around one ball, moving as one. Hopefully it's cute and not dangerous! :scared1:

Later in the day we're going to my brother's to celebrate my niece and nephew's birthdays. :yay:

Hope you all have a great day!

Good Morning Hyenas!

Bernice I'm glad your dh is doing better. My brother has epilepsy like Christina's so I to know about seizures. Last month he had one in the shower and fell through the glass door. It's so scary since he lives by himself far away from us.

Hopefully they can get them under control.

Thanks Shawna, we're kinda perpelxed as to why it would start now. Hopefully we will get osme answers at a followup appt.

Its raining its raining... yAY YAY YAY YAY!

yay! for the rain!!!!!!!!:goodvibes

woohooooooooooo!!!

It's cold and drizzly here. The mountain looks pretty when it's not shrouded in haze hahahahhaha!

We walked to albertson's bought doughnuts (which turned out stale -eh), hanging arund the apartment watching TV , watching hubby sleep (Dilantin side effects include: growing more hair (good for the balding guy!), growing extra gum tissue (ewwwww!), drowsiness (gee, really? couldn't tell zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz) , and a potential but rare effect.... having ummmmmm things stay up .. for more than 4 hours (hubby laughed, "hey that's a good thing!! ")

The soccer practice and game didn't go so well today. Well, it did for everyone but DS3. He wanted to play basketball with the soccer ball, kept picking it up and running with it, and asking Daddy to throw it in the hoop.

ahhhhhh, cute! But frustrating too.
Your DS3 reminds me of my DS11 at that age. He would get frustrated when things didn't work the way he thought it would.. then it would be melt down time, followed by "fine I won't do anything" stubbornness.

Poor little guy! Maybe hes just to little? :grouphug:

yep, target has tons of stuff for Halloween.

They always have leftover stuff to clearance out after the holiday is done too, littel gril orange tights and weird women's socks for 90% off anyone? :goodvibes

Hospital discharge instructions said no driving.

Well I just kissed him as he went out the door to drive to dialysis.

I aksed him over and over.. are you sure? are you sure?? are u ok???

yes, yes, YES!

sniffle sniffle.. ok but don't kill yourself or anyone.

earlier I tease him that he can't get killed yet , he only has the freebie life insurance from work so far (only $5000 coverage).. and hasn't signed up for the extra life insurance.

Told him it wasn't enough, 5,000 was just enought to cremate his butt.

I know, poor humor. But ya gotta laugh or go crazy... which is better?

  :lmao: :thumbsup2
