I am terrible with politics. That's one thing I really admire about you United Statesians, you have such pride in your country. It's sad how many Canadians don't know who their the prime minister or premier is. But we all know who the american president is.

ahhhh, but yu would be suprised how many "United Statesians" know absoultely nothing about their own government.

I had a Head Start parent asking for tips/tuturing for his citizenship test... the lead teacher and I tried to tell him that most natural citizens probably would not be able to pass the test.


He was shocked. "But you should all know it?!"

That was a hard one to explain.

Yeah nobody's perfect. A study showed most american's can't find the US on a world map. But I do love how everywhere in the states you see the american flag and see such country pride. I think it's admirable when it's not taken too far.
