Hows the little one doing now Alex? Ds is sick now too.. I was wondering how long he would be in school before it happened.... Hopefully he gets it out of his system soon. Along with everyone else in the family that is going to get it!

Well.... we had the worst day in along time around here today... the kids fought all day, and drove me freakin nuts!!! It was weird, they generally dont act like this!:headache: BUT... they are in bed now, have been since 7, and all is quiet in our house!:thumbsup2
DS3 seems totally recovered. DH and I are having some symptoms now, but I think we're on the downside. Thankfully a short-lived bug.

We're wondering where it came from, but could be anywhere, really; preschool, the school event Friday evening, playing with DS7's friends after school... ? Just hope we aren't going to get something right before the trip!

Sorry to hear about Alex, too.

In our house it NEVER fails... Right before a vacation everyone gets sick!:lmao: When we went to Reno for christmas last year, I came down with strep... I went to the doctor and literally got on antibiotics the DAY we left!:lmao: Before Dl last October, the kids got really bad colds the week before we left..

Yeah, when we went to DL last year, I was sick. I assumed it was a sinus infection because I'd had a bad cold a few weeks before and headaches and nausea afterward. So I had just got antibiotics to take on the trip, too. I felt terrible about the first 3 days of our trip.

Last year I bought some Airborne or whatever it's called, but we never took them.

So Alex... what are your big plans for tomorrow? Just hanging out at home being sickys?

Ugh... There is a greenbelt right behind my house, and I can always here the animals in there, and it is scary!!:lmao:

Other than laundry and a grocery store run, I'm not sure. I know I should start pulling stuff aside for packing. I can't believe it's so close now! :teeth:

Me too... It looks like we can start packing away the summer cloths, so once we get everything washed, might as well pack it! I also have to go through all of mikalahs cloths to see if she has anything reusable from last winter. I dont think so, in fact... Im pretty positive that it is all WAY to small. :headache: I hate spending money on her clothes, when she literally out grows them faster then a newborn.

Yeah, I just checked the 10-day forecast, and it's all temps in the 60s and some rain. Bummer.

It's tough when the kids outgrow stuff so quickly! I think we'll be able to use almost everything, though we lost DS3's only pair of sandals about a month ago. I just bought a pair of Crocs for DS7 (he wanted them to go with some jibbitz he liked, ) and now I'm thinking I'll get DS3 a pair...

I would TOTALLY get him some!! I got them for Mikalah, I have a hard time buying shoes for her, she has very wide feet, and she out grows shoes like there is NO tomorrow. I bought her crocs in May, and they STILL fit her!!! :thumbsup2 We havent had shoes fit her for more then a couple of months before, so they were DEFINITELY worth the $30. I spent on them!!! She wears almost a 10 now... and her 8/9 Crocs still fit her!!! I swear, they are the best money I have ever spent on this kid! After our trip, I am going to buy her a different type, a more wintery type. Alex has the Mickey ones... He loves them!!:thumbsup2

I was just going throught the things that we bought for our trip last year for Mikalah... They were a size 3T.. Yes, for a 1yo!:lmao: And they look SO tiny to me now! Considering she is in a 5/6. I dont even have any pants that fit her!:headache: I cant buy her jeans, because all the jeans are cut for little girls that have no little baby pudgy hips, or butt. So she is strictly a sweatpants and stetchpants little thing!:lmao:

I can't believe she wears a 5/6! DS3 is wearing 3T, and just now they are the right length. (He's 40 mos, not quite 3.5yo.)

I know... The trouble is her legs. They are so long.:sad2: And her chub... The girls cloths are all cut for skinny girls. And its not like she is overly chunky for a baby!! She is perfectly proportioned.. (and deliciously chubby to me!! ) But all the pants are cut so small!! I was putting a denim skirt on her yesterday... it is a size 5, and I could barely get it over her thighs!! It really makes no sense to me!! Remember what she wore to the zoo? Forget about it!! I cant get that past her knees now! She wears the same size as her brother, but because boys clothes are cut so much baggier, his stuff is to big for her!! I DREAD shopping for her...and that is sad, because when I found out we were having a girl, I was SOO excited to shop for her!:lmao: All the frilly dresses... :sad2: That lasted about a week!:lmao:

My brother's kids are big for their age, too. My niece was a little pudgy until a few years ago, but then had a growth spurt and was taller and more slender. She is nearly 8 and wearing a size 12, he is nearly 10 and wearing a 16 Husky!

My niece is the only girl on both sides of the family (we have 4 boys and 1 girl, her mom's family has 3 boys and 1 girl), and fortunately she loves all the pink and purple and frills. I love buying clothes for her and my friends' girls because it's my only opportunity to get that stuff. Well, unless you count DS3 wanting the princess dress... :rolleyes1

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I can laugh because Alex is the same way!!! He loves doing all the girly stuff that Mikalah and I do... Makeup, nails and hair. Pretty dresses... all that!:lmao: I have a princess Aurora Dress that will fit him nicely!:lmao: :thumbsup2 (your ds, not Alex!)

Man... have you seen Raven Symone lately? She certainly is... busty! A far cry from the cute little thing she played in the Cosby Show!!

I have seen her show a couple times. I thought she was chunky, but maybe it's all one one spot. :confused3

She is very curvy! I have seen shows that she looks chunky, and then ones where she looks like she slimmed down alot. She must go through stages. Sorry... Cheetah Girls is on right now!:lmao:

Oh, I just saw a post today about new Crocs with lining! :thumbsup2

They look cozy warm... Just the thing for winter shoes for the baby!!:thumbsup2 I saw that post too.. Thats what made me look to see if they had them for kids!:lmao:

Yeah, I was looking at Crocs online with DS3. He likes the Disney blue ones with yellow strap, I think it is. I think it will be cute to have bright ones for him. DS7 got black ones with I think skull, eagle and Indian head jibbitz.
