I finally got the calendar to load - I can't wait!!! Full entertainment schedule, long hours - should be busy but fun!!! :cool1:

I also forgot to mention - DS is doing awesome!!! He fits in so well here, and his speech seems to be improving every day (even DH has commented on it). When he acts out and is a complete terror in the store, everyone asks if he is "5" (instead of the standard "2" guess we would get in the valley) I can't explain it, but there really seems to be a lot more kids here with speech delay and other concerns, with 2 kids in DD's 1st grade class that don't talk at all. So it is great - he loves his preschool, and the speech is starting to come :cool1:

Those things said - as Andrea pointed out - my ticker is back. I took it off when I figured we had about a 95% chance of not going, but as of now I would say it is about a 95% chance that we will go. It will be a quick trip for me and the kiddos (DH will be at bird show). We will probably arrive after everything is closed Friday - but be at the park all day Saturday and 1/2 the day Sunday (DH might join me then) So, as of now I am pretty sure that it is a go, again, me and the kiddos there on Saturday - so I would love to meet up with anyone that is there. I will be on my own schedule (no DH, no stupid friend), so it should all be good!!!
Yay! I'm so excited to see you all in person!!! :yay:

We haven't really planned any get-togethers, though I'd like to. Maybe a Billy Hll show? Redwood Creek Trail/Brother Bear Totem ceremony?

I know!!! I can't wait!!! I am so excited that I am not even freaked out at the fact that odds are good I will lose DS somewhere in the park. I will have to PM you all his pic and my cell phone number so you can return him if you see the little monster running around!!! :lmao:

I have never done either of those two things - so both sound fun...I would really like to plan something for Saturday...I know DH will be committed the whole day to the bird show and I won't see him. As much as last time he was "cool" with meeting up with everyone, that really didn't happen too much - granted he was WAY more stressed and a lot less happy then. Who knows, it might not even be a problem any more!!!

Dizzy, that's awesome! I was a little worried about your family, especially your DS, but it sounds like things are falling into place.
:cutie:

Just map quested...DH is going to be 27 miles away for the bird show!!! I might have him come with me Saturday morning, run to Nemo, and then he can be off to the bird show!!! I would feel so bad riding it without him (but won't hesitate if necessary!!!)

 Thanks Alex!!! Things finally seem to be falling into place. We are still having a lot of looks on our house - and at least know we are covered until the 21st of October. Even after that if the house does not sell we will either try to rent it out, or keep trying (it would be a better time of the year to sell). Then we might try to get into a 6 month rental agreement somewhere here (it will be the dead of winter, so real easy to rent) The owner of DH's company will advance us the money if we need it, and he will just pay it back out of his quarterly bonus (no big deal, it is "free" money anyways). It also helps that I am now making about $1000/month - guaranteed no conflict with the kids (DH writes my schedule, and I get a really nice break) DH is SOOOOO happy right now, and with DS improving so much and so fast - I really feel like things just might turn out GREAT!!! Also why I finally approached DH about Disney - it just seemed like it made sense financially and mentally for us all to get a quick weekend trip :cool1:

Agreed, a mental break is just what you guys need after such a rough time.

HOORAY!

That's wonderful!
Are district services better there? maybe people move there to get better services than in the city?:goodvibes I'm so happy for you and your family!:yay:

Hope to see you Sunday morning, we get there before opening. Taking one of the first parking trams for the day .. weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee our first ride, and also our last at the end of the day :sad1:
yes, yes, yes.. where should we meet up?????
Not sure if Staley is going to the park on the 7th, I know they are leaving that day.

Maybe the first show of Billy Hill? It seems to be the least crowded, there were plenty of seats left as the show started last Sunday.... mmmmmm gotta have that chocolate cake again :yay: Nice treat , almost too much cake, even for the four of us.. sugar buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

We see Goofy every morning as we stroll into the park at opening. Not a gurentee of course, but more often than not he is there.

Went to Ontario Mills outlet mall, hubby was convinced it was an outdoor mall, I disagreed..

HA! I was right.. nice mall.

INDOORS!
pfffffffffffft take that Mr Grumbly butt!

Looked at their Disney Store, they had a ton of the $5 T shirts (the Studio line ones with drawings of the characters), SCORE found a Tinkerbell in my size! YES!!!! And Donald for the boys. They didn't hav any of those at the last two stores we have gone looking.

Then we headed home, hubby almost missed the turn off to the 15 South. Took a quick turn to get onto the ramp.. EEEK! that was scary!

Told hubby that he can't do that when his mom visits, she will be terrified of going anywhere with us:laughing:

Skipped lunch and settled for popcorn, pop and crummy hot dogs at the second run theater ($2 each before 6 pm, $1 hot dogs).

Watched Transformers..

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that was awesome!

Now I want our Rav4 to turn into an autobot:thumbsup2

and now I'm tired and need a nap before I get all achy.

buh bye!

:wave2: :cat:

Nap, food, water and a good dose of Aleve. I feel a bit better.

I find if I overdo (today with the long walk at the mall) , I pay for it later with painful joints and feeling exhausted. It sucks but it's liveable.

Good evening, beautiful people!

We are a little weary after a long, sickly day, but just ate waffles for dinner and everyone is feeling much better this evening. :thumbsup2

I wanted to ask (on Staley's behalf), does Goofy hang around his house in ToonTown for autographs and photos? We met Donald on his boat there, and came thisclose to meeting Chip & Dale as well. :thumbsup2

Hello! hello!

Yes, your right. Goofy is at his house in Toontown from time to time.
But Pluto was wayyyyyy more fun to watch. Last weekend, he was down on all fours "licking" a little girl, rolled over and showed his belly.. it was darling cute to watch!

Cool, I thought he probably did!

Too funny about Pluto. I've seen some really cute pics people have posted of Pluto and their kids. :rotfl:

once again i am taking a sewing break and clearing my PM box.. eating warm apple pie and vanilla bean ice cream

Hows the little one doing now Alex? Ds is sick now too.. I was wondering how long he would be in school before it happened.... Hopefully he gets it out of his system soon. Along with everyone else in the family that is going to get it!

Well.... we had the worst day in along time around here today... the kids fought all day, and drove me freakin nuts!!! It was weird, they generally dont act like this!:headache: BUT... they are in bed now, have been since 7, and all is quiet in our house!:thumbsup2
