oh sure, Staley and Albort pop in while I decide to play Holly Homemaker.
Made my bed, set dinner to cook in the crockpot, pulled out some frozen over ripe bananas to make into something (bread or muffins? hmmm can't decide), vacuumed the apartment (even pulled the cushions off to get the crumbs, darn no money in there).

Now I'm listening to Cha Cha Slide.. why?? no idea.

Bernice, OUCH!! That's a steep bill and it's only the first. 20% doesn't sound too bad, but darn it, they should just cover it all. It's not like it could be helped!

Wow, Bernice, you are a busy little beaver!!! I can't seem to get my butt into gear today at all!! Dizzy added a ticker so I am assuming her trip is on, right? I don't remember her having one this past week!!!

Howdy Folks! Been a rough week so far. My desk was piled high! Had to hurry and get about 500 checks cut the last couple of days so my boss could head out of town. AND...internet is down at home...apparently Hughes is having a new software/router problems, so they are shipping us a new router to go with our new software. Should be here sometime next week.

Not to mention that our internet & email went down at work yesterday afternoon and I spent all afternoon on the phones with Qwest trying to get it fixed. I was not a happy camper....called their 800 number, told them internet was down, of course the idiot I spoke with at the call center located in Outer Mongolia kept putting me on hold and speaking with others. Couldn't understand my problem, tried to tell me we didn't have internet service with Qwest, etc... Then finally after 30 minutes came back on and said, and this is a direct quote "We have discovered the problem, you have no internet or email service"! No SH** SHERLOCK, what was your first clue?? The fact that I called and told you??!!

Anywho, the technicians from Qwest just left. They don't know what happened, but all of the sudden it started working again! Apparently the Internet Gods are not happy with me!

Oh & let me elaborate on the rest of my life.

Just discovered that my Notary Public license expired in June! I would like to thank the County for changing the name of my road so the State couldn't send me a renewal notice! Now I have to completely fill out everything and get relicensed. Just what I needed! NOT!!!!

DS was wearing glasses for the last couple of years so he could see the board in his classroom. At the end of last year a pin fell out of his glasses, they had a substitute teacher, he sent the glasses to the office to see if they could fix them. No one bothered to inform me, I find out a week later, call the office and they seem to have lost 1 of the lenses and the side piece! I completely forgot about getting him to the eye doctor to get new ones this summer. He informs me Wednesday that he can't see at school. So I call and they are able to get him in this morning. Whew!!! Bad news though, his eyesight has gotten much worse and he now will need to wear glasses all the time, except for close up reading.

Got to work at 11am, Qwest guys are waiting for me to fix internet, phone is ringing off the hook and I still have a boat load of work sitting on my desk. Which of course is the reason I am Dising!

Hi Alison! Sounds like a fun week! I just love when I have to call those foreign call centers, I always get the same run around you did!! Oh well, atleast you are back online where you belong.

Oh, just saw your other post. Poor DS, how does he feel about having to wear glasses all the time? I know most kids aren't happy, I hope he deals with it okay. But atleast he'll be able to see at school!!!

Did I also mention that I forgot to call my sister and tell her I was home. She called today to see if I made it back or was chopped into little pieces in an Orlando hotel! And I have about 15 emails that I need to respond to. Wow, I'm really having a great day!

He's not real happy about having to wear them all the time. But I let him pick out 2 pairs of frames, whatever ones he wanted. So hopefully he will be happy with them. He also said he didn't want to have to wear them at recess. I told him that's ok, but he has to wear them all the rest of the time, even after school and when he's playing at home. I'm going to have him leave a pair in his desk in case he forgets the other pair, then he will always have a pair at school.

I was in the room while they were giving him the eye test. He couldn't even read the big letters with his left eye! The doctor said everything far away was going to be very blurry to him without glasses. His left eye was having real problems, but she thought it was because he was trying to use the right eye to see everything with. So we have to go back in 2 months after he has been wearing his glasses for a while and getting the left eye to start working harder. Then his prescription might change. But the good news is there will be no additional charge to change his lenses on his new glasses if the prescription changes. Have I mentioned again how much I like Kaiser HMO!

Heavy Sigh... I guess if no one is here I'll have to go where my real friends are, 24/7. Yep, you guessed it Online Banking!! All I have to do is put in a couple of ID numbers & passwords and it will regurgitate all the numbers I could possibly want!

So what was I thinking when I set up my photo passwords for our online banking accounts? I decided to go with a theme - FOOD.

It's just a photo that pops up to let you know you are on the legitimate bank site. So now I look at platters full of yummy looking food every morning when I'm hungry!!! NOT a good idea! And I only have 8 different foods to look at each day!

My old account kept asking me "what was your favorite restaurant in college?" as an additional security question.

I couldn't remember what I set it at!! It popped up everytime I tried to log in, and I couldn't figure out thow to change the security questions.

I would type in a guess, and then get a new question.. ohhh good I remember that one!
