I really thought she would, they are SOO close and play together all the time and are so snuggly with each other.. But no, she really could care less!
I mean... they are so close that when they are separated for MINUTES in the store, they run to each other with their arms out... and hug.. Its very cute, but you would think they had been apart for years!

I think she likes having one on one time with us during the day...
Oh, shoot. I was just going to send you the PM (it was so cute!), but I forgot I deleted a bunch of PMs this evening, and that was one of them. Sorry.Nope. I think it's because she sent me one in the past and I didn't have it because my sig was too big!![]()
Hmmm... Probably just letting loose after a long day of being good.
Oh, could be hungry, too? DS7 would come home ravenous after school! And when he's hungry, he sometimes gets cranky. And DS3? {shudder!} Feed the boy already!![]()

I saw these cool hats in Vault 28 in DTD. They cost $85/Ea!! I wanted to see if they had them but they said they were mostly all out because of the VMA's.![]()

This one is my favorite!
DS7 hadn't done ANY homework since starting school, and I've been telling him every afternoon, "You need to do your reading. Do you have any other homework?"oh yeah... i always make sure to give him a snack after school... Like he would let me forget!![]()

I think it is a combo of things... tired, hungry, getting out all his oneryness on us... Hopefully he will get over it after a bit, we are trying REALLY hard not to get to harsh with him.

DS7 hadn't done ANY homework since starting school, and I've been telling him every afternoon, "You need to do your reading. Do you have any other homework?"
Last week I saw that he had a special project that is due tomorrow. He hadn't done it, so I told him this afternoon, "OK, today you need to read, you need to practice your spelling words, you need to do any math homework she gave you today, and you MUST do your project."
He threw a hissy, said I was supposed to print pictures for him. I stopped him in his tracks and said, "Whose homework is this? Right, it's yours. And did you tell me you wanted me to print photos? No? Oh, so whose fault is it that they're not printed yet? Yours? Oh, OK then, because it sounded like you were blaming me."![]()
We got home and practiced his spelling words: I read them off and he spelled them all correctly. Wow, that was quick! So much for practicing every night!![]()
No math, so onward to the project. We reviewed the fun stuff we did over the summer, then he had to pick an object reminding him of a special person, another one reminding him of a special place, and a third reminding him of a special activity. So he chose a photo of his birthday party as his special activity, the baseball field as a special place (his first summer playing on a baseball team), and a goofy photo of DH with a lit fireworks sparkler tucked into his cap for his favorite person. Kinda cute.![]()
Then on to reading. He asked if he could read the next Harry Potter book. I was trying to talk with DH by then and he kept interrupting, so I said, "Sure, go read the first chapter." And good grief, he DID!![]()
That's what I was wondering!!That's what the sales girl said.
She said if I wanted one they would have to measure my head because it's not by size: S, M, L, XL.

yeah, alot of hats are like that, they go by hat size... Dh has a GIGANTIC head, so we have trouble with it sometimes!![]()
I've never heard of it before. I always assumed it was S-XL.
Both last year and this I mentioned it to the teacher at the orientation (right before school started) and gave dates and more detail in a follow-up email. Both times the teacher said it was no problem, and was very positive. In fact, this year the teacher said she is all for kids taking trips and having family fun.![]()

Sounds like a fun project!!!
