Staley, I painted both of my bathroom cabinets in the spring. I wanted to see if they would hold up for 6 months or so. If they chipped I wasnt going to paint the kitchen ones but they look great and clean up nicely so I am doing the kitchen cabinets. Dh put some nice crown molding on the top and some on the bottom and it really changed the look of the cabinets.

Ohhh... okay!! very cool!

that's the way it is here too. No homemade stuff. Shoot I honestly was looking forward to knocking out 8 dozen cupcakes in a night like the commercials. I know thats crazy but that just sounded fun. Now I cannot do that. I have to buy the tasteless ones at the store. And cookies???? Oh my I dont like bakery bought cookies but that is all they will take.

I love baking them myself, too, and they taste much better than store-bought, IMHO.

But she mentioned it at the same time as food allergies, so not sure if it's because it's easier for them to tell what's in store-bought items, or if it's because of quality control standards in commercial kitchens... like some people who lick spoons or knives and re-use, or might not wash things well enough?

Thats what I thought too. Both of my kids have a severe peanut allergy in their classes so it's only store bought rice krispy treats for birthdays. Most bought cupcakes have a peanut warning since its made near peanuts. The kids are already sick of rice krispy treats.

So Morgan's ankle is dark green with hues of purple. It's about an eight inch long bruise and about 4 inches wide. PRETTY!

It really does sound lovely, except for the fact that it's SKIN!

So just how bad does Daddy feel? My DH would be absolutely devastated if he'd done something like that. He would be spoiling that child ridiculously. Guilt is a beauiful thing, isn't it?

Yes he feels TERRIBLE. He is babying her to death. Luckily he had to work today or else she would get too spoiled! She's doing better.

Oh, does this mean she can't dance at DL? I hope that's not the case...

ETA: I suspect she'll recover before your DH does.

Yeah, I did, too. But when I got pregnant the butt got bigger (who knew?! They don't tell you THAT in the pregnancy books!) and the belly never went flat after that.

Good thing I don't see babies in my future. If I do have a baby I am not against surgery, tummy tuck, suck my butt fat, pull my breasts (up not down) and laser my tummy stretch marks. Somebody should keep those surgeons in business.

yeah I saw this show awhile ago and it's not that good. I dont' know why I liked it, I even had smurf jammies.

Pretty good. I am busy painting the kitchen cabinets. It's a pain. The doors with all the detailing kills my hand. Anyway its slow go with 4 coats of primer and 3 coats of paint. It takes forever but I am seeing what it will look like and I'm getting excited. i cant wait to finish and put the floors in finally.

We wish we could still go in October as well as November. Thats what a lot of people from the studio are doing. However, since we are finally getting new floors I cannot afford both trips with saving for WDW at the same time. I have worked hard to get my floors and I just cannot wait! Although Dh suggested AP's again. I'm like DUH we said none til after WDW!!! GEESH.

I think you have been painting those cabinets for like 3 months. Finish them already and get on here more. I never see you on the dis.

Dh and I have to find a new place to live because our three months of free living in the company flat are up. All month we have been trying to just get a viewing of a place but by the time we call they were just taken.

This new place shows up on the market (yes only one!) so we call first thing in the morning, we book a viewing for today at 2. We just got back, we liked it so we called to submit an application, guess what it was taken this morning at 11!!!

As it turns out 3000, yes 3000 students have just arrived last week, so we're competing with all them for a place. And they do things so strange here, they rent it to the first person who applies. In canada they take applications for a few days and the choose the best one. So don't have a chance and we have to be out in two weeks.

No its a wrap. I SHOULD go look for a pink one. She has a wrap on and then a black brace over the wrap. One mom was talking that we should Bejewel that with sequins for her!

Oh and I painted the BATHROOM CABINETS 6 months ago this week I started on the Kitchen cabinets! I do miss the DIS but I've been falling asleep on the couch at 8pm!
