You guys know about that plane crash in tailand?? Well I have a subscription to a flight agency that emails me when deals come out and I just got one for super cheap flilghts to tailand. It's funny how nobody wants to do the thing that just killed people. Like after 9/11 the airports were empty. But that's the time to do things because hopefully they've learned from their mistakes and have heightened standards Maybe I'll go to Tailand...

It's actually been a pretty cold summer here. It has been down in the 40's at night this week and the leaves on the trees are starting to turn. I always find Fall kind of depressing, it means the start of the rainy, cold weather. At least with Spring, it might be cold & rainy here, but it holds the promise of Summer!

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one that had a cold summer. Scotland was a rotten summer weather wise. It rained every day. It's finally stopped raining but now it's cold. I had to wear a warm jacket today. And I agree about the leaves changing, winter is my least favorite time of year.

quit your moaning...do you know how many people would kill to have it cold in summer time??? those of us with 102 plus temps all summer like me and andrea....not shawna because she gets cold at 85º

I flew home from Orlando last Tuesday on 9/11. I didn't even pay attention to the dates when I booked the flights. Should have know something was up when I got a great price. It was a great day to fly. No lines, tons of security, planes half full. Plus I'm betting with all the security here it's probably the safest day of the year to fly on. The only thing I didn't like was in the morning at the airport they announced the times the 9/11 planes crashed over the PA system and asked for a moment of silence to remember the victims. I thought it was a nice thing to do, but still, here we are sitting waiting for flights and the last thing I really want to think about is my plane getting hijacked and crashing!

I am also guessing that Thailand tickets are on sale because this is typhoon season!

Hey I bet I could do this for a living. I'll just hang out near someplace with free wireless internet, hang out my sign and Dis on my laptop. Then I'll go have lunch, charge up the battery and work another 4 hours each afternoon. Yeah...that'll work!
