Good morning, hyenas!
Rain this morning (and all last night), but the drizzle has stopped and the sun is trying hard to peek through. Supposed to get a high of 61, 63... something like that.
We walked DS7 to school this morning. Or rather he walked ahead, while I half-dragged DS3, who did not want to walk. DS3 finally flopped on the (wet) ground, and I caved, picked him up and carried him the rest of the way.
Once DS7 was in class, DS3 whined, "I want my [DS7]!" Wow, they really are starting to get along now.
I told him DS7 was at school, but we would go get him after DS3's nap, and he said sadly, "OK." I walked out of the school grounds and halfway home before I had to put him down (my back was killing me by then), and he flopped around a bit and whined about having to walk, but then I distracted him with talk of breakfast, which he hadn't eaten yet. He talked me into making him a "peanut butter delly samwich" for breakfast. I said, "If you have that for breakfast, what are you going to have for lunch? Cereal, or toast?" He said, no, he'd have
another "peanut butter delly samwich." Ahhhh. OK then.
Shawna, so sorry to hear about Morgan's ankle!
GEESH, I bet your DH feels like an idiot.
Does this mean she won't get to perform in Nov.? I hope she can recover in time.
And
happy birthday to the little hyena pup, Lauren! Wow, lots of 7yo pups in this hyena pack, huh?
