hmmm interesting spelling of reading.

I'm trying ot remeber a book about a girl that puts quilts on all the pumpkins in the patch, telling them each goodnight.
And everyone thought she was foolish, until one day there was a horrible cold night, her quilts saved the pumpkins for harvest and Halloween.


Can't remeber the title.

Thought it was a good imagery.. quilts, my trademark pumpkin, saying goodnight.. see?????

Apparently I have the story wrong, she takes her "lovey" quilt and breaks it apart into 12 pieces to save the pumpkins from the frost.
