Unplanned trip WWYD?

We are thinking of going to Windsor Hills or Bonnet Creek this summer. Just laying by the pool and going to SeaWorld and Aquaticia. ( We already have passes). I am a teacher and my husband is self employed. Our dates are flexible and we are on a budget. Do you think it would be wise to wait until last minute to book? Do you think there will be any deals over the summer? TIA!

If you just want to lay buy the pool and go to Seaworld/Aquatica you may want to consider HGVC SeaWorld. You can rent from Hilton or look to cut a deal with an owner through sites like Timeshare Users Group or Redweek. They have really nice amenities and are much closer than WH or BC. I will be staying there myself the 2nd week of March and will be posting a review with pictures and details, look for it in the reviews forum.

We booked a last-minute trip to BC last July. I think it was about 4-5 weeks out. We got a great deal on a 2-bedroom ($120/night). We did not do the 4 main parks - just the water parks, DTD, and BC's pools. I agree with the PP, if you are not planning to do a lot of WDW, I would consider staying someplace closer to the parks you want to visit. But BC is great if you decide to stay there!

Oh, we booked through Ken Price at vacationupgrades.com. We have just booked again with him for our late April trip. That was at 5 months out. If he can get us a better deal, he rebooks and gives us the discount. So for BC you can book now or later and probably get the same deal.

Check out southwestvacations.com. They have some great deals on. We stayed at Sheraton vistana villages thru a package last nov and got a great deal.
