Unofficial Vow Renewal?

Hi there! My husband and I booked a cruise to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and our best friends and parents are coming with us. We noticed the room that we booked has a pretty large balcony (I am a person who needs an accessible room, I was just impressed this room had such a large balcony after I looked the room up post-booking!) and we decided to do a small vow renewal on the balcony with our family and friends, 12 people total. We want to do it as Sunrise overlooking Castaway Cay. We dont have the budget to do anything official with Disney weddings, so this would be ideal. The room is 9680 on the Wish. It’s going to be very quick as well, maybe 10-15 minutes top. Do you think Disney would have any issues with this?? Or try to stop us?? I’ve told our guests to not dress up since well be going to Castaway cay after breakfast, but I do want to take some pictures in my dress in the atrium. Nothing big, just like 1-2 pictures. Is Disney going to tell us off because we didn’t go through them to do a ceremony? More than likely I will pay disney to take pictures if they’ll have us.

Congrats on the celebration! I can't help with that specific room, but we were upgraded to room 8692 on our Wish cruise in August and I think it would have been big enough. Based on the deck plan picture, I'd think yours will be, too. Hopefully, someone has more information for you!

People take photos all the time. As long as you aren’t blocking access for other people, you should be fine. While dining at Palo, I have seen couples having photo sessions at sunset on the aft deck of the Magic (very underutilized).

Never heard of limits on balcony occupancy. If you aren’t squeezed in like sardines, should be okay.

Have you checked sunrise time? Any idea what time you are scheduled to arrive?
