Apparently I stink as a planner- I got the same email, but didn't realize that they went down, I thought some of them went up!:rotfl:

But....I did pay off the trip today, so yay!!!!

Aww thanks, Liddy! I will probably get DH to help me figure it out. He is a lot more tech savvy than I am. I am a quick learner, just not adventurous enough to play around and figure stuff out. Too scared I will do damage that couldn't be repaired! :scared1::rotfl:

D~ I got my Brita bottles today!! :cool1: DH and I will be able to use them at work too. We have always taken water to work, just drank it unfiltered... :sick: So we will no doubt get our money's worth from these bad boys too! :thumbsup2 Thanks for the recommendation! :flower3:

Yesterday I got some fun mail...another $125 in Disney gift cards I had ordered, and some really cool battery operated "flashy" wands I ordered from Oriental Trading. These will be great for the kids to use at the nighttime shows. We won't have to pay 3X their value by purchasing them from a vendor on property. :woohoo:

My next goal is to buy a few grocery items each week to get our snack and breakfast supply ready. I can't get them when the kiddos are around because they will wonder why I am not letting them eat them now. ;) After those are purchased we will have everything we need for the trip. :banana:

You have to track those days specifically when you are signed in - then it emails you when there are changes or updates... Also, my favorite part - it tells me how many days until my trip! :thumbsup2 The page loads waaay faster than the Disney website. LOL

DMGeurts - I normally carry a small notepad and take my laptop, I do not plan on taking the ipad to the parks but I think carrying just one index card with me each day will be a little less bulky than even a small note pad

Does anyone know when some of the updated Fantasyland rides will be in? I heard/read that some, like the new Dumbo ride, may be "early 2012". I'm hoping that means some of us March travellers will see them!:thumbsup2

discnewbie - going by what I heard Dumbo is slated to be up and running late February (2/17/12). I just don't put too much trust into timelines Disney gives anymore, twice we were disappointed, when TOT and Test Track were each being built and dates for openings given we planned trips as our one DS was a ride nut and both trips we got there and they were not ready.


My best friend and I will be going to Jellyrolls after our ADR at Kouzzina on March 26. If anyone else from DIS will be there, let me know! The more, the merrier! :goodvibes

I do not expect to, it is our last day and as of now we will be spending it at Epcot, lunch and dinner one last IllumiNations the back to the resort to pack up to leave the next morning after breakfast.

I've made some ADR changes! Here is what I currently have!

March 4: Dinner at Garden Grill @ 4:15 (formerly CP @ 6:35)
March 5: Lunch at Tusker House @ 11:15 (no change)
March 6: Dinner at Crystal Palace @ 6:20 (formerly 1900 PF @ 5:40)
March 7: Dinner for 6 at 50s Prime Time Cafe @ 6:50 (formerly for 4 @ 50s @ 5:55)
March 8: Dinner for 6 at Akershus @ 4:55 (formerly GG @ 5:20)
March 9: Breakfast at Kona Cafe @ 8:15

We picked up two extra diners for the 7th and 8th, and then moved some ADRs around, dropped 1900 and picked up Akershus. I'm excited to go back to Akershus .. even though I did not enjoy my entree last time. Now I know not to order it. ;) However, 1900 PF was an ADR I was very much looking forward to ... so I'm sad that we lost it. Granted, if I can get one more ADR in (either drop one or pay OOP), my fingers are crossed for a 1900 PF cancellation! :goodvibes I'll be trying again periodically to pick it up somewhere.

We should be arriving in the area on the 3rd, and planning for dinner at either T-Rex or EoS (no ADR, will walk-in; if it's busy we'll just attempt EoS). We still don't check in to CBR until the 4th (so no hotel changes ... yet).

Hey guys!! I have noticed a few of you talking about Brita bottles and I'm curious about thm. After all it does sound like a much better idea than spending $4 a bottle in the park for desani. I'm so picky about water, does the Brita actually make water taste good?? I hate hate hate tap water. I need honest opinions and feedback. I literally can't drink water if it doesn't take like Poland springs or smart water......:confused3 help!! Thanks so much

I have really started my planning now!!! I start back to school on Wednesday and I don't know how much "extra" time I will have. Yesterday and today I made an itinerary with all our confirmation numbers, parks, etc and today I have been working on custom autograph books for the girls. I have it all done for the most part...just wondering what to use for the cover. For those of you who have made them what do you use?

Hi Ashley...

Personally, the Britta water bottles make Disney water taste like Dasani - it does filter the water for bad stuff and taste. However, if you are really picky about the taste of water (I am too) I am pretty sure it would be good for you - but you have different taste buds than I do, so no guarantees. :thumbsup2 I was skeptical the first time I bought one of the bottles, because they were so expensive - but I am hooked. :lovestruc

Another crowd levels update from TP and My MK day went from bad to worse :scared1: I want to switch my MK and DHS days but I can not get an early breakfast at CP if I switch days. I think I just need to go with my original plans and stop stressing out over the crowd levels. Back when I planned my DHS day it was a best day and now it is a park to avoid :headache:

I just hope it does not get any busier during my trip dates, I really hated our last trip because of the crowds but the weather was great, I guess it is a toss up in the end, can't have everything.

Have you actually gone in and checked the numbers for your dates? I get the emails ... but they're not notifying us of all the changes! I made a change to almost every park, every day off the website. The only changes I didn't make were the ones in the email. Some numbers went down, some went up.

It's possible you may get a cancellation for CP around the 45 day mark. Just keep checking -- over and over. Something may turn up, but you'll need to be watching so no one else snags it up! :goodvibes

And just try to relax and have fun. Even if it's packed, as long as you zig while everyone else zags, you're still golden! :cloud9:

I've totally had the grid lock before ... NOT FUN! Fingers are crossed that you'll have plenty of zig opportunities! And fingers are crossed that you'll get bookings that you want for the Dessert Party! (And stuff opens up for you!)

DD and I will still go to MK for the PM hours ... but it will be to ride things, and if characters are out, possibly see those. Unless she changes her mind. I figured I'd let her be in charge of the evenings, let her make the decisions. :goodvibes

So wonder why they aren't notifying me of all the updates? I changed the CC for almost everyday and every park on my spreadsheet today. I started with the email ... and after I made those changes, they were the only ones I didn't change when I loaded the website. :sad2: Most of the numbers went up ... but it will still be our lowest crowds we've seen. We're used to 7+ crowd levels on "best" parks ... so I'm anxious to see what a 1-3 on "best" park looks like!

I personally have not been during that week, but did visit in 2009 from 3/24-3/31 at the height of Spring Break. Easter that year was April 12th which has an effect on the Spring Break crowds.

This year Spring Break officially begins on March 9th and Easter falls on April 8th so I would think it will be pretty busy that week.

 
I am really wondering if bookings are way down, it seems like all I have seen since yesterday are Disney Commercials advertising the 30% off for late February and March ending soon.
