We're slated to be in a Pirate room in Trinidad South (I believe) but I'm hoping to get something closer to the main buildling at check-in for my Mom's benefit (trouble walking).

March 5th 1900 PF 7:05 pm
March 6th Akerhus 2:50 pm
March 7th CRT 8:35 pm (hoping for an afternoon nap so she's happy this late!!)

My plan seems to be putting us in one park each day. If I remove my park-hopper, can I enter MK in the morning, go nap/swim at CBR, then go back to MK that same night? Or once you're in, you're in? Never went without the hoppers, but seems they may not be necesary this trip. Thanks!

One park per day. You can come and go as you please.

easywdw listed the changes in park hours for the month of March

according to easywdw the park hours on March 11 were extended to 11pm from 10pm but no longer show EMH which is thought to be a mistake.

Hi fellow March travellers!

I'm late to the game, but so excited for my upcoming trip! CBR March 4-8 with DD and my Mom! A girl's Princess trip.

My daughter (3 1/2) had her first Disney experience this past November and EVERY DAY she asks when we're going back to see her "friends" Cinderella and Tinker Bell. I wanted my mom to experience this age and took advantage of not being tied to school vacation times and booked!!! Plus getting away from NY in March will be very nice.

We have ADR's at 1900 PF, Akerhus and CRT!!! Talk about Princessing it up! Just lucky/happy I was able to get into all of them. Times are "off" but that's fine by me.

If you're staying in a Pirate room, 100% of them are in Trinidad South. So you'll either need a standard room for a non-Pirate room, or a Preferred room for close access to OPR.

However, you do not have to walk to OPR from Trini-South if you have issues. There is an Internal Shuttle that makes rounds and will pick you up at the Trini-South bus stop and drop you off at OPR for dining and pool access. Or you could drive. There are price differences in the Pirate room (most expensive), Standard, and Preferred rooms.

We booked a standard room, but will request to be on the first floor. We're not requesting a village. So we're anxious to see where we get placed!

It's possible that we may see each other at 1900 PF. I currently have an "off the books" ADR for 1900 PF at 6:55pm. I don't know if I will keep it or not. My original plan was to go to DHS that evening with DD, but since we haven't decided, I've not made anything official.

And yes, if you want to take off PH and only visit one park per day, you can come and go as many times as you wish. You just couldn't go to MK in the morning, then to Poly for dinner, and Epcot for the evening.

As our time draws closer 48 Days for me It seems more and more "Closed for Refurbishment" signs are popping up.

Although the following will only effect a small amount of you if any I am still going to list them here and on page 1.

Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure closed through 3/11/12 for refurbishment.

All-Star Music Resort

Piano Pool closed 2/6/12-3/2/12 for refurbishment. The Calypso Pool will remain open.

Port Orleans Resort - Riverside

Alligator Bayou Pool near buildings 36 & 39 closed 2/27/12-3/1/12 for refurbishment.

While it isn't official, I've heard a rumor from a pretty reliable source that Dumbo will actually be down until mid-March.

So let's pray it's just a rumor with no credit, but just a warning for early Marchers in case you need to prepare for it.

I am not surprised as Disney oft times does not make there first projected completion dates for new or refurbisheding projects.

Just look at the mess with the Royal Rooms at POR. I wonder if anyone here had one booked between Feb 17 and March 9. I actually mentioned it to DH when we booked back on 9/2 with the FD promo but he just rolled his eyes at me thinking I was nuts wanting to stay there at my age. Bet he would have been happy when we got upgraded to a Deluxe

Sorry to hear about the issues you've encountered with refurbs. So far, we haven't missed out on anything that wasn't already announced. However, I was excited to try Dumbo this trip. Every year I say I'll get the kids on Dumbo, and every year we have to bypass it due to the lines. This was gonna be the year. I'm seriously praying it's a nasty rumor and they'll complete close to their original projection date. Now I'm wondering if they'll even bother opening up the new FL area if Dumbo will be down.

I thought Kouzzina would be good for us this evening. We'll drive over from CBR, have dinner, and afterwards, the boys will drive back to the resort and DD and I will head over to DHS directly. This gives us a small chance to see F! (but we'll probably miss it), but more importantly, it gives us a family dinner plus mommy-daughter time.

I gave DH a list of options for dinner, and this is the one he chose. I'm excited to go back to Kouzzina's! We had a great meal there in 2010. I'm praying for no rain though (we got caught in a monstrous storm!!).

We paid off our balance yesterday The boys have plenty of spending money on gift cards that they've gotten for birthdays and Christmas so now all we're going to continue saving for (for the next 48 days) is spending money for me and my hubby!

Wow, how cool is that for her to celebrate her birthday at WDW?! Did she pick Kouzzina for her dinner? (That is really awesome if she did!!!) She is going to have a great birthday!

We dined at Kouzzina's back in 2010. YUM! So I'm very much looking forward to this meal. Part of it is because I'm a Cat Cora fan, another is the food is just YUM! I'm excited to see what DD orders!
