Hey guys!! I got my M.E mail yesterday. I didn't get the Mickey mail with the info in the free dining though.... Does this come later? Or will we not get it because we booked through JetBlue? Now I'm all nervous because I didn't get the other package...... help

Yes your paperwork will be sent to the TA and she will contact you. I am still up in the air about doing online check -in. We have never done it before and my requests are important to me so I most likely will not do it. I have read if you do do it , afterwards it is best to call CRO and make sure you requests if you have any are still on the reservation as some have reported if you do online check-in it wipes your requests out.

I know the year we did a Delta Dream vacation we rec'd a packet with all the particulars from the TA but it was from Delta.

Did you book a package with tix? DP? or just a room and airfare? If it is just a room more than likely all you will get is the ME mail.

I should think you would get one from JB if its a complet pkg with tix/DP, I would call and check with JB.

When we did online check--in last year, we had requested connecting rooms with my sister....long story short, they did not do it and they actually took care of it for us in the same line. I have heard stories that they make you go to the regular line. I have used online check-in since 2009 and I have never had a problem. They have always been helpful and we will do it again in 9 days.

That being said, I keep calling WDW because we booked a value and we want to stay at a moderate. I booked FD!!! I have called at least 12 times (I know.....annoying) and they have been very helpful. They put me on hold to call the resorts (or I assume...they did tell me). I just called and the CM told me they don't do that! I hate that.....I just wanted to vent.

Good luck with switching your reservation from value to a moderate resort, it is quite possible something will open up before you go since people with RO reservations can cancel up to 5 days before without penalty. From what I have read you need to talk to guest relations since the promo is expired although I know the time I switched from BC to WL the promo was expired and when the CM answered the phone I told him I needed to talk to guest relations and he said let me see what I can do and he made the switch for me, as we all know some are much more knowledgeable than others.

I called CRO this morning to verify my room requests and got a very nice CM. Originally when I booked the room I requested a full balcony. I called back one other time to add 5th floor, well much to my surprise the CM this am says to me you have a request for a full balcony. Hmm I guess the CM I spoke with the second time did not save my request for the 5th floor or never even added it So I had the CM this morning add the 5th floor and close to elevator.

Not sure if I will call again to verify that the requests are there but I am positive now I am not doing online check-in. I know I can always try the day I arrive to have my room requests met if I do online check in but that defeats the entire purpose which is to be able to grab and go once you arrive. I could understand if they sent people not happy with their assigned room to the regular line since I have read many accounts of people who have had to wait while someone ahead of them in the online check-in line ask question and/or change room etc.

My main concern is getting a full balcony, I know there are 3 or 4 rooms that do not have one and that would be my luck to get one of those and have to listen to DH. When we were booked at BC last year I showed DH pictures of the Juliet Balcony since you have a 50/50 chance of getting one and he said I do not like that! Switched to WL since they all have balconies and that is his favorite resort but then we ended postponing the trip anyway.

We are surprising DD with a birthday trip from March 18-23. We usually go in June, so I have no idea what to expect. Do you think crowd levels will be higher in mid-March than they are in late May-early June?

I can't sleep at night b/c I keep thinking of everything that needs to get done. It's difficult since only DH & I know about the trip. I really have to watch my words and be careful about packing. So far everything is just getting thrown into a corner of our closet. I need to take an evening to sort through it all. I also need to find out whether or not my shorts will even fit since I've packed on my 'winter weight!'

Spring Break Your are talking 9-10 crowd levels whereas end of May to June 6-7 crowd levels. The weather in March is not was warm so that is a plus.

It is considered spring break so...I would count on it being busy. Hopefully it will not be too bad.

I actually surprised my daughter with a trip and it was great. I hope that she will be excited when she hears the news.

I just pulled out all of the Disney t-shirts that I'm planning on packing. I also have our jackets packed. Hopefully we'll only need them in the mornings though. I have shorts pulled out, but we'll take a couple pairs of jeans too. I figure I'll have to do some last minute packing once I see a weather forecast.

I hope that those of you going early in the month will give us updates on the new FP system so that I can figure out what I'm doing!

I have high hopes that it will not be too busy also since it is before the official start of SB, one of the reasons we decided on the beginning of March. In 2009 we went from 3/24 to 3/31 and it was crazy busy.

I just realized we will be there at the same time...duh! We did the same it the crowd level were massive.....I vowed not to do that again!

Hopefully you won't need a jacket and sweatshirts will do. I am planning for all possible weather. I have been in March and it has been cold and I have been and it was warm.

Well, I decided that we will take an evening flight on Monday the 12th instead of morning on the 13th. I didn't want to risk problems that morning and lose part of our day. Instead of getting a room somewhere near the airport for that first night I went ahead and got a room on points at AKV. I wasn't able to get a value studio just a standard room so we'll have to switch in the morning.

I'm excited that we'll get to Disney a night earlier and have all day on DD's birthday.

Now I need to get her to get out her shorts and stuff and see what fits. Hopefully she'll have enough from last year. Just a month left now!

Just looked at the TA site for March and it looks like they extended hours a couple of nights at MK the first week. It doesnt look like any of the EMH's changed though.
