Great info for us Brits, I get a copy from my bookstore evry other year to keep up with new rides etc. Well worth a read for newbys to WDW - covers everything you could want.

From our experience I'd never go in-season, the heat and lines, but in low season [check you don't hit a US holiday], and it's a breeze. Very short lines, OK temp [who wants to sunbath in WDW anyway], also, don't book a package, stay first night in a loacl airport motel for $40 the room, then call around [local calls free] the WDW hotels and 'do a deal', we were booked in the Hilton near WDW for $279 a night [1995], bland hotel, so picked up the phone, got a Lakeview room at Polnesian WDW down to $150 per night for the room [not pp]. They also gave us 10% off that with our Disney Card [now only avail through US office].

In low season you can the best rooms at great prices in WDW, if you're happy to 'deal' with FRONT DESK, don't take Reservations, central 800 etc. Insist you get put through to Front Desk, they seem to have the auth to do deals on the day to fill hotel.

Any Qs just ask
Rob
