Last year we saw Andy Garcia. My husband and I both thought he made a joke out of the whole thing.

Ben Vereen was great. The year before we saw Marlee Matlin. She seemed to be the most appreciative out of any of the ones we have seen.

The reader she had with her was very good.

You know, we thought the exact same thing. The CP is too important and serious to ad-lib and make jokes. But when we saw him 2 years before this past year and he was wonderful. I remember how he stood up there in awe of the performers. I guess the newness wore off the second time for him. I will not chance it with him again (as much as I like him as an actor).
