I have several non expiry tickets linked to MDE.
Is there any way to temporarily unlink one (I have a hopper + water parks) to ensure my hopper is not used on a non-hopping day?
Is there an order in which multiple tickets are used in MDE.
I am picking up magic bands in resort and was hoping not to have to use the actual tickets.
TIA

Guest Relations at the gates of each theme park or at DTD can prioritize your tickets before you enter a park. I don't think there's an absolute way, in MDE, to guarantee which ticket would be used, when you have multiple tickets. Since you have mixed days of Hopper use and Non-Hopper use, you'd have to visit Guest Relations more than once to re-prioritize for the ticket you want to use, when your daily plans changed from Hopping to Non-Hopping and back to Hopping.

There are people who have set up phony names in their MDE account and transferred tickets to those phony names when they didn't want a particular ticket accessed. You would be in charge of juggling your tickets in your MDE account if you used that method of ticket management.

Some people have removed a particular ticket (let's say the PH ticket) from their MDE account to plastic ticket media, and used that new plastic ticket at entry, instead of using the MagicBand with the other ticket on it. Guest Relations at the parks or DTD would be the place to have this done.

That can't be done with a ticket that has been used once or more.
It only works with new, unused tickets.
Once a ticket has been used for entry, it can't be "transferred" to another guest, even if it's just a fake name.

Going to Guest Relations and getting the priority of the tickets set is the proper method.

Good point -- I forgot . Thx.

We have package deal with tickets we would like to add our old park tickets aswell. Can we remove the new tickets and add the old to avoid confusion?

Will I have to do this if I have a trip next week and then another trip booked in December? Or will the tickets for my trip next week automatically be used first? We'll be tight on time for our first park day so I'd like to avoid Guest Services before entering MK if possible

If your December trip is booked as a package, no need to worry.

"Packaged" tickets are not active until you check-in at your resort. They won't yet be listed in your MDE account.

As a rule the oldest tickets are used first. Last Oct we had to change the order of tickets. Unless this has changed, After you go through security BUT before you go through the gate there were cast members, wearing plaid I believe, with Ipads/Iphones. They scanned our MB's and were able to change the order of the tickets. Took less then 5 min. We still have a day left on a couple tickets that are non-expiry so we will have to do this again in Nov to save those tickets.

So, we have 4 day park hoppers, plus 1 day tickets to MNSSHP.
If we use the PH on day 1, and the MNSSHP tickets at 4 pm on day 2, how do we ensure that the party ticket is used on day 2, and not a 2nd day of the park hopper?

BEFORE you enter any park…
Stop at any Guest Relations and have the CM set the ticket that you wish to use NEXT as the HIGHEST PRIORITY ticket.

You can do this as many times as you like to insure that the next ticket used is the correct one.

Jimsig in post #9 above said that there were CMs just before the park tap styles that could to that for you.
I'm just not sure how easy that will be on all dates and times, however.

Thanks Robo, so i would have to stop at guest relations every day until I've used the party ticket?
For example, if I was using the party ticket on the 3rd day, I would have to stop at guest relations on day 1 to tell them to use PH, on day 2 to tell them to use PH, and on day 3 to tell them to use party ticket?
