Does anyone have any info on where one could purchase the unlimited one day photo pass? Our trip isn’t for another 2 1/2 weeks but I wanted to see if purchasing the photo pass ahead of time was an option at all? I’ve checked the app and all I find is the photo pass service page with very brief info but no option to purchase. Our travel epackage is not available until the 28th so I only have the email with our QR codes at the moment. Unsure if I need to wait until the epackage is available to purchase and link to the account, or if that’s something that needs to be done at the park? We are WDW veterans and I’m so used to purchasing memory maker ahead of time, this is all throwing me for a loop 😅 Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I think it's only available after the fact.

I usually buy ahead of time, but I did not in October, and I was glad I did not. ( I was WDW trained for photopass too. LOL). With the reduced amount of photopass photographers and lack of character meets that have photographers, I wound up not buying every day of our trip. They have changed it to where at the end of the day and even after that day-- you can look at your pictures on the app and then you can purchase the full day for $19.99 if you decide you want it. It worked great that way. Also, if you are going to the Christmas party-- you will get that whole day with your ticket-- not just the party time--- at least that is what we got with Oogie Boogie Bash so I would assume it would be the same.

Thank you so much for clarifying this! I was so confused when people and online searches kept stating that the all day photo passes could be purchased online but nothing about WHEN 🤦🏻‍♀️

Do photographers scan your ticket on your phone to link these photos to your account or do you need to use the photo card they used to give (not sure it they still use those?). I didn’t imagine we’d be getting a ton of photos like in years past, but being that this may be the last time we go there in a very long time, I’m hoping to get a few good ones 🤞🏻

Not an answer to OP question, just an FYI:

Now that both Photopass shops have been closed, there is a new Photo Concierge outside the Disneyland main gates (formerly part of the newsstand)

They scan a QR code on your phone you link to your ticket through the app. Or you can can use a card. One photographer gave us one so they are still using them.

You go into the "photos" section of the app. You click "link photos" which you will see at the top then click "show photopass code" and they scan it and it goes into your account. We didn't see any photo cards on our trip in October. They always wanted to scan the code on your phone. I think the code is specific to your account on the app- I can click on mine and find it right now even though we don't have any active tickets.

Similar to my other thread here about "what is a rope drop", I'd like to know "what is a photo pass". Even the Disney site has all sorts of FAQ's about how to get your photos, etc., but I couldn't find anywhere describing what it is and how to use it. So I just purchased it on their site and got an confirmation email that I purchased it....so now what? Do I just go into the park and have my picture taken by the Disney photographers? Do I have to show them something to scan? I didnt' see anything additional show up on my Disneyland app. Ok thanks for your help!

Thank you all for the info, this is exactly what I had been needing to know!

You can buy it ahead of time in the app. I just looked and that option is still there!
