I have a question regarding the Unlimited Magic Admissions Option as described on page 8 of our Members Benefit Guidebook. It does not make mention in the present guidelines that everyone in your party has to purchase this type of pass for park admission. This appears to be a change from previous rules in the past where EVERYONE in your party had to purchase this option at check-in. I've got my fingers crossed that the rules have indeed changed since my husband and I will be taking our children and their guests on our next trip to OKW. My husband and I do not wish to purchase this option because we have several days and a plus left from our Park Hopper Plus Pass we purchased on our March trip. However, our young adults in the party want the "works" so they can take in the parks and Pleasure Island daily. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has knowledge on how this option is presently working. Thanks in advance:D

When we went to OKW last month it was our family of four plus my sister went with us. The four of us in my family all have annual passes, but we had to purchase admission media for my sister.

The CM at OKW gave us the choice of an UMP or a park hopper. We ended up going with the park hopper. But the fact that they offered the UMP for one person in our group makes me think you will be alright.

You could always call MS and/or OKW to ask.

I would check on this. Seems to me that the recent posts indicated that if you had an AP you did not have to buy the UMP with the group, but I am not sure if park hoppers or other tickets would count.

You may get the UMP for as many of your party as you want. We have done this the last 2 trips and it was done without question.

In each case we had guests join us after we had already been there for a few days (we added a studio to our ressie to make a 2BR), so the UMP's were figured from their arrival. They were allowed to drop 1st and last day- if desired.

We purchased the UMP's only for our guests (we have AP's ourselves) and were never questioned about our own admission media.

Have a great trip! :)

hi: Doc is correct. you will be able to get an UMP for your guests. we, too, are ap holders and haven't had a problem purchasing umps for our guest over the last 4 trips. we were able to purchase the umps at check-in since our guests were with us at the time.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't your room key the admission media to get into the parks on a UMP? Wouldn't that situation give everyone with that room key admission to all parks AP's or not? I thought that this was the reason for forcing all who stay in a particular room to have the UMP's.

I asked this question not too long ago, and it seems everyone doesn't have to buy a UMP. Good point on the room key part, but if you already have an AP what do they do?

Even if you have an AP, it's not the same as a PAP or UMP with the water park & PI admission.

If they can differentiate between charging priveleges on some keys, but not all, then I think they could do the same with park admission.

Thanks everyone for the speedy replies. After reading them, I decided to go ahead and call Member Services and pop the question to them since some responses indicated that it would only apply to guests with Annual Passes and not other unused ticket options. The answer I got..... Not everyone has to buy the same ticket options. dh and I will turn in our old passes/room keys and our new room keys will reflect that we still have 2 days and a plus left. Both of our children ( ages 21 and 19) have 1 day and a plus left from their last visit 2 years ago. They can apply this toward any type of admission option they choose or just use their one day and plus up if they want to do that. The guests can choose whatever they want. This does appear to be a change from previous policy.

While all of the room keys may have one name on them, each key has a different ID# and is differentiated by the information on the magnetic strip on the back.

So.....you can have 4 keys for your room and 2 could have UMP's encoded- just like you may choose to not have room charge priviledges on all the keys.
