Unlimited Express Pass Price?

Does anyone know how much the unlimited express pass costs at the gate for a Friday and Saturday in October? This is the day pass that is only sold at the gate and not online. I know it's $70 pp during peak, what about non-peak? Thanks!!

The only way to get unlimited Express w/o staying onsite is by purchasing the VIP park-to-park ticket that includes your park admission. For the one day ticket, it's either $179.99 or $199.99 per adult. The EP you're asking about is cheaper, does not include park admission and is only valid once through the line. The regular EP is either $25.99 or $31.99 depending on your date.

I know I've seen a chart where it shows the price of the express passes for different dates, but I can't seem to find it now. Any idea where it is? I stayed onsite August 29th-Sept 4th and the unlimited express pass was so worth it. However, we're going to WDW next week Oct 9th-17th and staying onsite at WDW. We'll be going over to Universal Monday Oct 11th and again Thursday Oct 14th. With it being Columbus Day week I'm wondering how crowded it's going to be. I'm thinking Express Pass may be worth it for those two days. I know I'm sure going to miss unlimited express pass though.

I thought they only had the one ride per attraction pass also, but I called and they do sell an unlimited at the gate for $62.99 pp for one park or $70 pp for both parks. You have to buy it the day you go.

I doubt you would even need to buy the EP for the days you're going since it's not terribly busy right now.

Well, I do have to say that guest services does not promote this pass. When I called, they told me about the limited pass for $31.99 which gives you one ride per attraction. I had to ask them many times for information on the unlimited one before they would divulge the price. Also, I noticed on the universal website it mentions that staying on site gives you a free unlimited express pass "a free value worth at least $70 pp, per day" which implies that a pass is sold to the public for that price. Now the question is do I want to chance it and hope they aren't sold out the day I go or purchase the limited one for two days which would be about the same price or slightly cheaper.

Normally, I wouldn't purchase one and I would just wait in line, but I have a broken foot/ankle which will be about 3/4 healed that I'm going to have to take out of the removable cast and transfer to a running style ankle brace in order to go on nearly all the rides (casts are not allowed on most). I don't really want to add 60+ minute waits to the time it's going to take me to walk from ride to ride without my cast. Realistically, what do you think the wait times during the day will be for Friday and Saturdays when horror nights are going on?

Thanks, I was just concerned that since it's Columbus Day weekend and aloit of schools will be on fall break that it might be busier that week.

I agree that people that stay onsite for unlimited express pass might get upset, but really how many people are going to spend an extra $70.00/day/person to get it? I know we would, but we are only a couple without kids and $140.00/day would be worth it to us, just to make sure we got everything done and still had time to go back to ride our favorites and still had time to make it to our Chef Mickey and 'Ohana reservations those nights. I don't think most families would be willing to spend that much though (on top of park tickets)--I bought those two park 7 day tickets for $99.00 that they offered last winter and then upgraded mine to an AP when I was there with friends last May. My husband still has the 2 park 7 day $99.00 ticket. If we had to pay the current gate price for tickets, plus an additional $70.00/person/day we probably wouldn't.

I stayed at Royal Pacific a month ago and enjoyed it, but usually stay at a moderate in WDW. With my WDW AP I can stay at WDW much cheaper, than I can at Universal.

If no one knows about this pass, I doubt it could be sold out. You don't get a separate pass for staying onsite...the EP is your room key and I doubt it's $70.00 all the time. I wonder where that figure is coming from? Some regular EPs are almost that expensive for one park during a really busy time so expect the price to go way up during holiday periods.

I know, that price they list seems off because who would pay for a limited one during peak season if they could get an unlimited one for nearly the same price? According to the CM I spoke to today at guest services the price will be accurate for Fridays and Saturdays in October but it only includes days not horror nights. The price is also "subject to change without notice." So they may raise the price when we get there. I'll let people know if I get one and how much it was. I won't be going for a few more weeks.

There is an unlimited express pass available for purchase in the parks. The price can vary depending on the season. Most of the time it is $62.99 per person for one park or $70.99 per person for both parks. Next time just ask the TM for the price where they sell the Express Passes.

Exactly, and you can purchase them online through the end of December (last I checked) but they are limited to a certain amount per day. The price of the pass is tiered according to the time of year. The cost is in addition to the ticket price though - not sure if this is what the OP is asking.

I know you can buy the normal express passes online but I've never seen any unlimited express passes that don't include admission for sale online. Do you have a link?

You are correct, there are a limited number of express passes (one-time per express attraction and/or unlimited times per attraction) available for purchase each day. Also, as you mentioned the price is based on the time of year (i.e- the crowd level expected).

As far as I know you can only purchase the unlimited express upgrade at the gate. I have not seen those sold online unless you also have to purchase admission/VIP ticket. Someone else has already purchased our tickets. I only need express access. They don't sell the unlimited add-on online; only the limited (one ride per attraction).
