Unknown/little known bands

Hi, what are everyones favorite unknown/little known bands (or just favorite bands that aren't on mtv every day). Here are mine(most are punk/emo bands)
The Get Up Kids (sooooo amazing- every song is good- red letter day, out of reach, 10 minutes, Holiday, and One Year Later are my personal favorites)
Floz(go to mp3.com to dl their songs)
Alkaline Trio (best song- crawl)
Saves the Day(have become pretty well-known)
Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies (does punk covers of 70's songs-amazing)
Dashboard Confessional (usually just a guy and an acoustic guitar- really good)

I like alot of groups that are British pop groups that are EXTREMELY popular over there, but not too popular here.

i dunno maybe these groups are a lot more popular than i think.. but Juliana Theory (they did the song called 'Top of the World' for the movie Motocrossed) and also this Christian band called 7 Channels... i dunno of many of their songs but my youth director knows them and so that makes it even cooler and they might open for Creed... and then they will become well known ... neways they both have website.. just type in there names at yahoo if ya wanna check them out

well i like relient but a bunch of peeps kno them. oo and i kno this guy matt beckler and he's a muscian and his musics really tight. check out his website matt beckler

No one knows more about unknown bands than me. I love punk but I don't really care for emo. For your bands, I love Alkaline Trio, my favorite song of theirs is "Stupid Kid". I used to be really big into Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, but all their covers song the same. Here are some of my favorite relatively unknown bands:

Reel Big Fish- Best ska band in the world. They have very upbeat, happy lyrics. They actually are kind of popular, as they have a song on the Baseketball soundtrack. My favorite songs by them are "Beer", "Take On Me", and "Everything is Cool". I saw them in concert in early October, and they were amazing.

Goldfinger- Toured with Reel Big Fish. Great skunk(ska/punk) band out of SoCal. They have a ton of energy, and like Reel Big Fish, very upbeat lyrics. My fav songs are Counting the Days and Superman.

A New Found Glory- I dont think theyre really unknown anymore, but theyre still great. Very pop-punk, but good none the less. I crashed my car listening to these guys. "Hit or Miss" and "Broken Sound" are my favs.

FenixTX- Featured on the American Pie 2 soundtrack, these guys are all out punk, but lately are moving more towards pop-punk like A New Found Glory. I love "All My Fault", "Phoebe Cates" and "Threesome".

Less Than Jake- A punk band moving more towards ska. They have a very fast beat and sing mostly about teenage life. My favs are "All My Best Friends are Metalheads" and "Gainsville Rock City"
