I'm in a few FB groups for Universal Orlando and UOAP's.
The entitlement in these groups is astounding! I am actually surprised so many people are either angry or just shocked that Epic isn't included in their AP now, or why they can't get AP benefits for Epic.

Their AP isn't for epic! so why would anyone expect to get perks at the park?
I have over the years on and off gotten UOAP because it works better for me to get hotel discounts by having one AP in our party, I never in a million years would have expected to get an AP perk at the new park when it's not even listed on my AP that I purchased.

Yeah - does not surprise me at all.

The thing is at least two different admins in that group posted it in that group. Its unfortunate and will cause some complaining - Universal has made some mistakes with communications and the new park.

So I can understand frustration, but I cant understand expecting this perk - it would have been nice - and may have pushed me to buy the higher pass. Universal could also change their mind on this at any point and allow for it - much easier for them to add it later than take it away later.

This AP holder is rather concerned with how it's going to be addressed. It's a new park and I am sure that this will be addressed in the future. As Long as I can get a ticket at a discount and use my ap discount in the park for merch I am a pretty happy camper. I like that they are offering us tickets before opening and giving AP holder opportunity to see it. I still plan to renew my AP it's still worth it.

I have to say the Epic looks amazing and I cannot wait to get inside. I debated going while I am down in May but I want to be there the whole day and just soak it in. At this point I plan to go in September by that time all New Park issues will be ironed out. The entertainment looks great I am looking forward to the Wizarding Jazz band. I love that era of music and it looks like a fun show.

The only issue I see is Celestial Park and the lack of shade. But since I have only seen what vloggers have shown me maybe it's different. Love the flowers absolutely beautiful.

Yeah - everything I have seen talks about the lack of shade in the entire park for the next few years until all the trees grow in.
Bring lots of sunscreen.

One good thing from what I have heard is there are a ton of fountains specifically for filling water bottles as well as the soda machines which can be used for filling water bottles as well.

FYI - reservations for the Helios Bar and the Taverna are up on Resy -looks like nothing at the Helios Bar till the 30th

No idea if its needed, but better to have it than not I guess.

I saw them a few weeks ago. But they may have taken it down and reupped it

Do we have any idea what park hours will be once opened? Hoping we'll get to enjoy at least a few hours after dark for our late June trip. I know that might be a big ask since the days are so long that time of year.

I just checked Resy a moment ago and Flora Taverna is taking reservations for tomorrow and the rest of the month.
No activity on the Universal website yet.

So they have announced that during the previews there will be early entry for hotel guests - but not passholders - but also that no rides are open.
Not sure what the point of this is if the rides are not open - I guess you can get in line for an hour before the park opens?

I also heard something about the VQ drop for ministry being random instead of at set times. That is an odd one - I really don't want to be watching my phone all day

I know they dropped on 4/9 because that's when I made our reservations. I know some people made reservations the day before and then they weren't on there later that day. We went to Bar Helios last night with our reservation and it was busy it qas busy and good. I'm not sure if they were taking walk ups. We have breakfast in a few minutes at Flora also with a reservation.

Yeah I assume yesterday was crazy with the same parade of influencers wanting to stay the opening night and review the bar etc..
I've not checked yet - hoping to see thoughts on the bar. I booked two nights for the bar and figure maybe I can walk up another night if its good. I just plan on going around 4ish for a break and go back into Epic - so hoping it will not be too nuts.

Well that is what I did - not my problem if they don't have an option for 1. I'll probably just go to the bar if at all possible and not take up a table though. Depends on where my table is as well.

Ya I wasn't sure if you could sit at the bar or if everything was reservation.. I was a little unclear on the setup
