There is a HUGE difference between a scary ride and people jumping out at you in a queue. There is a reason I don’t do HHN
Still unclear how they're going to do jumpscares, might not be people. Going to be some time until we find out and if it comes down to it hopefully it'll be predictable enough that people who get spooked can be forewarned.

has anyone seen any info on what time the tickets will go on sale on the 22nd and 24th?
Nope. Best bet is to have push alerts from Universal on a social media network (or maybe sign up for their emails?), would imagine Scott Gustin will post about it too.

I'm going to try and buy the tickets thru the app. I do have our AP's linked so I'm hoping it will be easy.
Having Helios reservations open on a different day as the single tickets is tough I agree I am also hoping to align the two!
Right there with you! Planning on booking Helios for 2-3 nights for late-June; hopefully we'll be able to get single-day tickets for one of those days. If not, we'll just cancel our Helios booking.

Anyone know if the included/complimentary Express Unlimited Pass you get if staying at Hard Rock, Portofino, or Royal Pacific will be valid at Epic Universe after the park opens (since we know Express will be available for Epic Universe by the time the park opens)?

Or will they just keep things the same and have the included/complimentary Express Unlimited from those hotel stays only valid at the current parks?

I wonder how the AP promo will work for people who use a soon-to-expire AP to buy Epic tickets. They show up next year with Epic tickets, but they don't think about their AP since it expired months if not more than a year ago. End up fumbling around in the app to find their expired AP, the app wants a password they can't remember, etc. Good times!

No, the express pass for HRH, Portofino, and RP will most likely never include Epic Universe as the deal with Loews were for only UO and IOA.

Does anyone else find it really odd that they would name an area DarkMoor when a Moor is the name of an African Muslim? It seems like a huge PR oversight and wondering how long it will take them to change it (and how much it will eventually cost them).
No because the word has multiple meanings and its clearly not the one you have just suggested.

I guess they were thinking the same thing when they selected the name. Who knows? It just seems like they would have done a little more research for global consumers before selecting a term, so they don't have a Splash Mountain-sized PR issue later.

Agree. The article stated it wasn’t announced yet of what types of jump scares. It could possibly be scare actors… or my mind also went to features within the queue similar to Mummy’s noisy, sudden blast of air.

I'm really excited about the Phantom of the Opera meet-and-greet even if the thought of meeting one of my special interest characters terrifies the hell out of me. I'll just have to be satisfied that it exists at all and will glance wistfully in its direction whenever we visit Darkmoor.

I'm not really a meet and greet type person but Dracula, bride of Frankenstein and the newly announced phantom of the opera piques my curiosity.

I agree that it had multiple meanings, I'm just surprised that they chose a word that also has racial connotation; and, is used by some Europeans as a negative racial terms against Northern Africans in Southern Italy. Many Sicilians are mocked and looked down upon for having darker skins because of the Moors
As an Italian, I can tell you this is not true at all.
"Mori" was used mostly in the middle ages to reference the Arabs who invaded certain parts of Spain and Sicily. While in other parts of Europe those were dark times, culture stagnated and there was no technological progress, in Sicily and other parts invaded by Arabs it was a period of great progress. That gave us terms still used in astronomy (zenith, nadir...), most of scientific books that survived from classical times were saved thanks to the "Mori", especially concerning mathematics (church wasn't much interested in saving those). Architecture and arts flourished. It was an enlightened time still seen with reverence. If anything, Mori is one of the few words that references to dark skinned people that has an inherent positive quality.
That said, stupid people can use any word they want in stupid ways, so I cannot exclude you might have heard that, but it's not its common meaning.

Also although I did not get an email - I seem to have gotten in the ticket queue vie the website when browsing for tickets - maybe they go on sale at 7AM?

OK so a 3 day ticket starting on the 22nd is $577.22 with tax. and a 5 day 3 park is 616.63 - that was starting on the 22nd.
This is the 3 park where you can go back and forth between IOA and US.

I decided to pass and wait for the AP tickets in a few days - but if you want to go I would not wait too long.

BTW - they have a 4 park as well as a 3 park - 1 park per day ticket.

I guess Shakespeare was "stupid" when he wrote Merchant of Venice. I guess anyone who has read Merchant of Venice is also "stupid."

Did you have to call to get the Helios pricing info?
No I just went to the reservations site -its an AP link but shows all rates - it seems to not have anything left now. at least the 22nd to 23rd

Direct Loews Hotels link to book APH rates at the Loews Universal hotels:
https://res.windsurfercrs.com/ibe/d...hildren=0&promo=aph&iata=&group=&hotels=&ada=

Also the two new moderate hotels are 250 a night at that time.

BTW - September rates for Helios are around $267 (stay more rate) and $100 more for club level
