Instead of doing a blow by blow for each day I will give you highlights.

Drive down from I95 from NJ to the Delaware Memorial Bridge was uneventful. We left at 4 am, so it was smooth sailing. Believe it or not, there is still traffic in Fredericksburg VA even at 6:30 am!

We scheduled a stopover in Savannah GA at a La Quinta (Gateway location). It took us about 12 hours to get to Savannah, which is normal time. The hotel itself was ok. There were some strong pet smells in the hallways. The room itself was ok, not bad for an overnight. There was a Sonic attached to the hotel, so for my kids, a Sonic nearby is always a good thing. The pool was really tiny, but servicable. Breakfast wasn't ready at 6 am as promised, so we basically just left to go to Orlando.

I95 traffic was ok, until a road closure at the end of Georgia. We wound up going down 303 to Rt. 17. I95 was closed for traffic, so we continued down Rt. 17 until another I95 exit a while back. We turned around and saw that the traffic was behind us! We beat about 5 -7 miles of traffic. We got to the Florida welcome center right at 8 am, for the free OJ!

From there it was a straight shot to Orlando. We noticed a ton of power company trucks leaving the Florida area. I 4 wasn't too bad even at 10 am. (again, we are used to Philadelphia traffic)

We pulled up at the Royal Pacific around 1030 ish. There were tons of people checking out, so it was really busy. We used the Lowe's express checkin, and they did not have my Lowe's ID on file. I had called them with it, and they did not have it. So back to the car, get the number, and get back in line.

They did give me an upgrade because of the Lowe's first. This was our first Lowe's stay. We didn't get the free gift. They also asked for my annual pass. I only had vouchers, so the clerk inspected them. I then put the vouchers in the trip planning folder, which then went back to the car...

AFter getting our magic keys, we walk on over to Universal. I then realize that our vouchers are BACK IN THE CAR! So walk back yet again, and get the vouchers... now we can get to USF.
