We have a very crazy idea and are checking in to see if it is feasible and if anyone has done this. We are spending Thurs. Nov. 6 & Fri. Nov 7 at Universal and then checking in to CSR at Disney. Because of a split stay for Disney FD, our Disney fix don't start until Nov. 9 so out plan was always to head to Disney on Thursday Nov. 6 to pick up our tickets so we can set up FP+ for Saturday Nov 8. Because of the way our MK days are panning out, we are not going to have a chance to see MSEP or Wishes (don't want to shell out the extra $$ for MVMCP). So now my crazy idea
I was thinking we could leave Universal when it closes at 7:00 (or a little earlier) and head to MK. There we would pick up our tickets at Guest Services and add on an extra day in the hopes of heading into MK to see MSEP at 8:00. Is this possible?
How long would it take to leave Universal, get back to the hotel and get our car, drive to MK, and pick up tickets at guest services. Can we do this in an hour or hour and a half? Of course - then we would have to drive back to US late that night only to have an EE day the next day!
It would be easier to do this on Friday when we are moving to CSR - but that is another MVMCP day and after that we are in the parks and with 4 of us - a park hopper is too pricey. The $40 extra for 1 more day in the parks seems to be the most economical.
