Does anyone know if you can buy a one day pass to visit both parks?

Yes you can. Its $73 online and $77 at the gate. The best deal right now is the $85 2 park 7 day ticket which can only be purchased online but if you know there is no chance your going to spend more then one day yes a single day ticket can be purchased.
