Hoping someone can help out with this question!

We're looking at getting the Southern California City Pass on our next DL/DCA trip and spending one day at Universal Studios in Hollywood. I'm trying to find out if US has something like the DAS for guests with disabilities? I've been poking around online but I ma not having much luck finding any info.

Thanks!

I don't know the answer in afraid but I am also visiting in May so I'd be interested to hear the replies

Thanks, I've read through that but the info I was looking for is not there...or it is and I am just too stupid to see it!

edited to add: thanks for the Orlando Informer link you added...I read through that and I hope that there is something similar in California.

I've sent an email and will post here if/when I get a reply!

My laptop is playing up and wont let me open any PDF's at moment and so posted the one above.. thinking that you most likely had seen it... hoping you get a reply soon.. :)

They purposefully don't release any information on what they offer. There's an email address in the PDF, you should contact them and see what they'll share. Basically, it's like the GAC in that you state your issues and they tell you what they can offer. What you get may not be consistent from trip to trip, kind of like GAC stamps. If you get a guest assistance pass it's like the DAS in that you go to the attraction, get a return time and use a different entrance when you return. There are no kiosks, you need to go to the ride to get the return. You might want to price the FOTL pass that they sell, because that will get you one ride and then if you get a pass that will get you a second ride. There aren't as many attractions at USH, so you also might want to see how many you think you're realistically going to do before paying for FOTL.

Thanks for the info, that helps a ton!

I received a quick response! :thumbsup2

Hello Susan,

Thank you for your interest in Universal Studios Hollywood. We offer a complimentary Guest Assistance Pass to guests with disabilities or limitations that may affect their visit to the park. Please be sure to stop by Guest Relations upon your arrival to request one of these passes.

Since the needs of our guests may differ, an associate will ask a few questions about what will be the most comfortable before providing complete information on how your pass will assist during the day. Please keep in mind that this pass is valid for the guest with the limitation and up to five (5) additional party members.

Please don't hesitate to reply with any questions. You can also speak with one of our representatives by calling 1-800-864-8377 option 3 between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm, seven days a week.

When we went last yr,
We got a very similar card to the das, it works like the das except you go straight onto the rides if under 30min wait.
They also have a scanner so they don't write times down they scan them on, and then when your time is up,they scan the card and let you on.
It works really well.
