Universal Studio FL and Island Adventure in 1 day?

Do you think this can be done? We are going late August and hopefully it won't be too crowded. What does everyone think? Can we do USF and IA in 1 day??? And what are the must do and must not be missed?

Yes, it can be done, especially if you only want to do the major attractions. I certainly wouldn't recommend it for anyone who isn't already familiar with the parks though. You might need Express passes in that timeframe.
